“Beautiful Hotel”

“Breakfast was great. Especially the French toast. Classic preparation.”

“The room was good, but the bed was metal and every time we moved it would make noises and wake us up. There are cats running all over even in the place they have the breakfast setup so if you don't like animals or have an allergy to cats don't book here. Also, they have no working elevator so if you have issues climbing stairs don't book here. The price was good and we don't have issues with cats or climbing so this is why a 3 star not a one. I just want people to know what they are getting...

“This is a beautiful older home that has been wonderfully renovated! Our room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and well-presented. We just wished we had more time to stay and enjoy it.”

“About what we expected for a 2 star hotel”

“We hadn't expected to book a place like this but we were so pleased we did since it was so beautiful and peaceful. The views when the sun set and rise were extraordinary with the river in perfect view. I loved drinking coffee while watching barges go by. The tiny home had everything we needed and more from plenty of towels to comfortable furniture inside and out on the deck. The bed was firm and the whole place was very clean. It looks brand new and had nicer kitchen cookware than most. ...

“The tour of the Duff mansion was exquisite & so were the accommodations!! Authentic furniture & furnishings of the 1800s. The gal tour guide went way beyond in details & historic retelling of stories; & our welcome was very warm with a wine mtg at the mansion. The breakfast was fancy & super good. We met wonderful guests from all over- even Europe. It was a very special experience to go back in time & relive the Civil War era. All the extras the owner provides is extraordinary!! This is a must...

“Clean facility”

“A decent, clean, affordable hotel in a quiet neighborhood right off interstate 20 near Jackson, MS. Competent staff and good breakfast with multiple choices, (including our favorites like eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles). We liked their "Seattle's Best" coffee. The hotel is "pet-friendly," (and we are not), but our room was clean with no evidence of animals, so everybody was happy. We are not hard to please, so this was all we needed on our trip, especially the price was fair...
