“Lovely property and the restaurant was great. We had a great German dinner. But the after-checkout service let it down badly. I accidentally broke a glass, reported it at checkout, and was told face-to-face it was no problem. A $10 damage charge then appeared on my card anyway. I've emailed the hotel to try to resolve it and been completely ignored. It's not the $10; it's being told one thing and charged anyway, then getting silence when you raise it.
