“The room and bathroom were par for cleanliness. Breakfast buffet was unimpressive. But when we had an issue with a backed up sink drain in the morning, front desk staff and upkeep staff were there immediately and solved the issue, cleaned and sanitized quickly. They offered to move us if we wanted but we were trying to shower to leave so we denied the need. They were very attentive and helpful”

“Beautiful Hotel”

“Someone should tell the night staff that having their parents greet the incoming guests on the foyer couch with hateful unbroken staring is pretty rude. Straight up Death Stare from the mom . Not sure if she actually works there or is just squatting. Very strange. Also the rooms carpeting felt a little damp from possibly recent steam cleaning(I hope).”

“Beautiful view of the river. Set up was very convenient. Only concern was that the casino was a smoking environment.”

“The old house was just breathtaking. The room was quite large and beautiful. Breakfast was delightful.”

“Such a cute little place, we enjoyed our stay and the.whole atmosphere of all the tiny homes.”

“Latonya was an excellent host. The house was just what an old Southern home should look like. The breakfast was delightful especially the grits!! It was a wonderful welcoming home.”

“The tour of the Duff mansion was exquisite & so were the accommodations!! Authentic furniture & furnishings of the 1800s. The gal tour guide went way beyond in details & historic retelling of stories; & our welcome was very warm with a wine mtg at the mansion. The breakfast was fancy & super good. We met wonderful guests from all over- even Europe. It was a very special experience to go back in time & relive the Civil War era. All the extras the owner provides is extraordinary!! This is a must...

“Great location for us as we had events at Millsaps. The inn was fantastic. The staff was so nice. Everywhere was clean. The bed was comfortable. AC worked great. The pantry was wonderful. Great cookies and a lemon poundcake. Will be back.”

“clean”

“This has been my best hotel experience in MS so far. I thought the hotel was new when I walked in because the lobby not only smelled clean, it was! Sometimes places just douse bleach around to give the impression of being clean. Not this place. When I asked the helpful and friendly front desk attendant how long the hotel had been open, he said, “It’s about 20 years old, we just take pride in maintaining it.” The room was a bit “dated” in color scheme; however, it was quiet and truly clean. There...
