Yes it was very clean and the young lady at the front desk was very very helpful and nice and respectful. I’m not of her name but she worked Saturday afternoon. A Black women wearing glasses she was patient and extremely helpful in a difficult situation. To be honest all the staff was very nice and helpful. We will be back soon thanks

We had an accessible room despite not having requested one in our reservation. What struck me as odd is that the accessible shower was NOT a roll-in. The sides of the bathtub are quite high and would be difficult for people with certain disabilities to actually use. Also, the metal on both nightstand lamps is corroded as was the water intake cord for the toilet. I do understand that the hotel is in the middle of a renovation project, so these noted issues may already be slated for correction. The hotel breakfast leaves a bit to be desired as almost all items offered are starches: toast, waffles, cereal, pastries, and muffins. I really wish that there was bacon in the hot tray instead of two varieties of sausage. Also, literally NOTHING on the beakfast buffet is labeled. I don't know what the difference between the sausages is just by looking at them. It would be helpful for guests with allergies or food sensitivities to know what something is instead of having to guess. Most of the staff are kind and courteous and smiled at us when we saw them or interacted. The hotel is quiet at night, so we actually got good sleep. Cartoon Network is not available in the cable package, so my daughter was disappointed. It's tradition that we watch cartoons together in hotels, but we were unable to find an alternative kids' channel to watch.

Room smelled unpleasant-perhaps due to the laundry wash process. Dirt buildup in any and every corner of the building. Furniture was chipped. Bathroom tub was chipped. No counter in bathroom. First impression was the entry tile had a dozen broken and missing tiles. The entry carpet runner was worn ragged on all edges. The breakfast was not fit to eat. Coffee pot was ancient with industrial grade coffee. Patio remained unkept of leaves dirt spare wood pieces. Wooden doors were banged and chipped. My neighbors treated me with serious love audio. Never again.

Hotel is OLD! Hotel smells! Hotel is dirty! Hotel staff is GHETTO! Hotel elevator is held together by DUCT TAPE!!! The Room AC was full of cobwebs, dust and smelled!

The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, lots of bathroom counter space, plenty of towels, and easy-to-use A/C and heating unit that was mercifully quiet. Plenty of 3-prong and USB ports as well. Overall, the environment was pleasant and surprisingly quiet and comfortable. On weekdays, breakfast ends PROMPTLY at 9. My daughter went up to get a bit more food at 9:03 as a staff member was beginning to put items away and was told, "The machine is off. You can't make another waffle. Breakfast is over." Now we know to make more waffles and grab more food than we think we want just in case if the cutoff time is approaching. There were a few issues with our room, but we were too tired to request a change. The bathroom light fixture flickered/pulsed the entire time it was on as if trying to prime, but could not come to full brightness, which was quite annoying. Also, the bathroom fan rattles/squeaks/whines the entire time it is on. Lastly, there is only a short list of channels available and no printed channel guide. I like having these so we can tune right to our desired channel instead of having to scroll through them all or access the guide channel and scroll.

Unfortunately, I must agree with several people I cannot recommend the Comfort Suites Inn in Sumter. Our stay was horrible! Ended up leaving and staying elsewhere. Right away the key cards would not work; I had to swipe a multitude of times. The door looked like someone tried to pry it open with a sharp object. The Room Had Some Kind Of Smell. At the time, when a reservation was being made online it should be mentioned that hotel is under reservation. The pool was extremely cold, even though it stated it's a heated pool online. I have found the staff and or management to be less the honest about booking of rooms.My reservation show a king suite with a king size bed and a sleeper sofa, they gave me a suite with a queen size bed, when I checked in Autumn said the room was chosen by availability…So why does my receipt say king size bed . Hmmmm the guy at the front desk try to tell me, that there are different size king bed!!! His words exactly “I don’t know what size your king is at home but king size beds varies. Oh. I forgot about the hot water there was none, when I went to the front desk to complain the man at the desk said I had to wait a while for the water to get hot! I ran the water for 15 minutes and still no hot water. My stay here was by far the worst I ever experienced in any hotel in my life. Then the man at the front desk was happy to tell me since I was moving to another hotel they would not be refunding my money, per his manager.
My reservations were for a king size suite with a king size bed. What they gave me was what they had available, which was a suite with a queen size bed. It was insinuated by the front desk that I didn’t know the difference between a king & queen bed!

The room reeked of dog and obviously they tried to cover up the smell. the bathroom smelled even worse and it took 15 minutes for the hot water to even come on in the shower. the room was clean but it wasn’t how it should’ve been. the breakfast also was not great and couldn’t really enjoy it.
