Cottage lato Creek a pochi passi da Twin Falls.

Tranquillo cottage lato torrente su 2 1/2 ettari con il torrente in esecuzione 30 piedi dal portico. Mentre attraversi il nostro cancello, i bei maturi Hemlock e Sweetgum ti accolgono nella nostra cabina tranquilla. I boschi che cullano la cabina su tre lati e il torrente a pochi passi dal nostro portico schermato, offrono la possibilità perfetta per rilassarsi e distendersi godendo i suoni dell'Eastatoee Creek che si precipitano sulle rocce (mentre dormi in uno dei tre camere da letto rinnovate di recente), vi offriranno uno dei migliori pernottamenti Godetevi la mattina con una tazza di caffè appena fatta sulla veranda dove i colibrì si riuniscono per la colazione insieme al cervo e al tacchino selvatico che visitano spesso. Fai una breve passeggiata fino alle famose e spettacolari Twin Falls o trascorri la giornata tuffandoti nel torrente o leggendo i nostri lettini vintage. Long Shoals Roadside Park è a soli 10 minuti di auto dalla cabina sulla panoramica Hwy. 11 dove puoi divertirti a scivolare su una grande roccia in un ruscello di montagna fresco. Fai una gita di pesca notturna sul lago Jocassee con James Couch, perché è a soli 30 minuti di auto dalla cabina. Aaaaahhhh

What a wonderful place to relax. The creek was so enjoyable and we loved the waterfall nearby! The fireflies were so cool to see in the evening and it was awesome to see deer so close! We chose this place to be home base while we explored lake Jocassee, Stumphouse tunnel, and Hendersonville. Honestly, I would have been just fine remaining at the house! The owner was very responsive and helpful when needed. If I could give more stars, I would.

Cute house and wonderful location.

Picture perfect home next to a mountain brook. The home is well appointed and maintained. We had very pleasant evenings in the nicely landscaped yard with a fire pit and room for the kids to play. The location is really, really nice. While the home is quiet and remote it is also centrally located when it comes to the area attractions (lakes, parks, etc). In addition to the hiking, we spent time on Lake Jocassee, went horseback riding and zip lining. The Twin Falls waterfall is a 15 minute walk from the house. 100% recommend and hope to return one day.

A Little Slice of Heaven!

We had the best time staying at the Creekside Cottage! My husband grew up fishing this creek as a child and it was so great to bring him home for the holidays. The location was nothing less than sublime. We were the first guests to stay there after Hurricane Helene. While the landscape changed from some of the photos, Melanie let us know immediately when making our reservation, and we had already been expecting some changes. We can’t say enough about what a Herculean effort it must have been for them to fix everything up and make it perfect. It was just amazing! Our dog, Bella, enjoyed exploring the property, the creek and the waterfalls with us too!The cottage itself was so cozy and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep. Even though our stay was over a chilly Christmas, we sat out on the screened porch listening to the soothing sounds of the creek and even cracked the window at night to hear it.If you plan on doing some cooking while you are there, you do not need to bring anything from your kitchen at all. They had the most well-equipped kitchen I’ve seen in a rental property and it was lacking nothing that we needed to prepare and enjoy our holiday feast.Melanie was a fantastic host and was very prompt in communicating with us. Check in and check out was seamless. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the cottage again during the summer months!

Beautiful rustic home, sprawling property, plenty of amenities, and creekside access. Wonderful mountain-esque retreat with great communication with the host. Our family truely enjoyed our stay. Full disclosure, second bathroom was in a separate building with a washer/ dryer and TV, which my husband absolutely loved.

Great cottage!

We loved The Cottage and the surrounding area. Very quiet and peaceful. The creek was beautiful and we loved sitting by the creek and reading. We made a trip to Bravard NC, short ride from the cottage. It is a pretty little town and worth visiting. Loved our stay!!

Peaceful

I can’t say enough about this property! Everything was just as the listing described but the photos don’t do it justice. The creek is so close to the house! We drove up to the parking area for Twin Falls which is very close and enjoyed the beauty of the falls. We relaxed in the creek for hours and enjoyed the screened in porch at night. All of the solar lights around the property are so pretty at night. Home was super clean and the creekside bedroom bed was super comfortable! Definitely will revisit in the fall!

Summer retreat

What an excellent retreat this home is. We spent most of the time on the screen porch listening to the creek. It's a short hike to an amazing waterfall. The kids enjoyed splashing in the creek. Highly recommend.

Relaxed Enchanted Getaway

You haven't seen all the Beauty South Carolina has to offer till you stay here! What an incredible, relaxed vibes with endless beautiful sceneries starting with the cozy, comfy cottage which I absolutely loved the wilderness style decor and Bear decor. The property gives an enchanted feel with all the lush green scenery and steps away from the creek which the creek offers a relaxing sound when sleeping with the window open. The property offers so much for adults and children to enjoy, have fun or relax without having to leave. A bigger plus besides being pet friendly, is the short walk distance to the beautiful twin waterfalls and many more within short driving distance. I would 100% recommend this amazing getaway to couples, families or friends outings.

Picturesque secluded river/waterfall getaway

Lovely stay at this sweet, well maintained cabin on the river and a mile hike to waterfall. So peaceful! Contact with host was easy and responsive and helpful! We would like to visit again! Thank you for wonderful stay!

So relaxing!

This was our second stay and it was just as great as we remembered! It was peaceful and relaxing. It was a perfect short getaway. Once again we walked up to the Twin Falls. The running water in front of the cabin was enjoyed while sitting out on the front porch. Everything worked perfectly...no issues whatsoever. We were even able to check in an hour earlier after we contacted Melanie. We look forward to coming again!

Home away from home

The property description was an understatement. The place was amazing and Melanie was more than accommodating. The amenities truly made us feel at home. Between the sound of the running creek, the fireplace, and the overall landscape we did not want to leave. Just a fabulous place to visit! We loved the creek, the fire pit, the fireplace, the cornhole boards…really everything! Wonderful location for nearby hiking excursions as well. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay!

Best Romantic Birthday Weekend

My husband planned the best weekend for us, the location next to the creek is so incredibly peaceful. We walked to the nearby Twin Falls with a picnic to spend a couple hours, the hike is short-ish and the views are spectacular. We brought all of our food and only left once to visit Brevard. The cabin had all of the essentials, bed was comfortable and showers hot. This location is remote enough that we encountered exactly one other human during our stay ( on the trail), other than visiting Brevard. December is mild and it was a great visit, I already want to go back in the summer and play in the creek. This cabin is a gem! Thank you!!!!!!

Family Gathering

Absolutely beautiful location! We were fortunate to catch the last of the color for the Fall. The sound of the creek was so soothing. Our family has relatives in the valley so we are familiar with the area and we were so happy to be on the creek! The cabin was very cozy and we enjoyed preparing meals together in the well equipped kitchen. The weather was perfect for sitting around the fire pit in the evening and we also enjoyed a fire in the fireplace while watching the Georgia/Mississippi game. An unusual feature of the cabin was a bathroom in a separate building from the cabin itself. Sort of a private spa. A very nice large bathroom off of the laundry room with a tub and shower and vanity sink. Quite a roomy bathroom. We called it the Queen’s Outhouse because it was so nice. A smaller bathroom with a shower is in the cabin. The living area is spacious enough for a family or group of 6 to sit comfortably. Very comfortable furniture including a recliner which my brother recovering from surgery found therapeutic. The bedrooms are a bit small-ish but have big comfy beds in them. Another interesting feature was the custom bunk bed with standard size mattresses on top and bottom that can sleep 4 comfortably. We thought the location couldn’t be beat. We recommend this cozy cabin to a couple or small family who enjoy “togetherness” because it is so “cozy”.
