The room was ok and the location was great but it was how I was treated, it was not what I had expected. The tv is out of date by 20 years and needs to be upgraded for a smart tv. I was lucky I had my laptop. The wine they gifted was awful. There was construction workers working in the room next door, working from 7am on a Sunday!!! They had issues charging my card when there was plenty of money in my account. They said my card had expired but never bothered to contact me until I noticed on the day before check, the accomodation hadn’t been charged until I chased it up with the manager and Expedia. My boyfriend unfortunately couldn’t make it last minute due to family issues and I was stuck with the accomodation and didn’t want to stay there alone.. they refused to give me a credit to use it for another weekend away. The bathroom flooded after having a quick shower and I had to use all the towels to soak up the water. I contacted the hotel manger again and they said they would send someone to check the shower. No one turned up and I wasn’t told anything. I asked for late check out to be compensated for the leak and that wasn’t possible either. The customer service was awful and I will not be staying here ever again.
Let alone not one construction worker offered to help me with my bags down the stairs after they had roped everything off and stood there watching me struggle down the stairs with my bags
