“Nice hotel. The only downside is that the pool area and the casino you have to be 21 years of age. My teenager could not even walk around the place. It was pretty disappointing.”

“Loved this place. Peaceful, intimate, surrounded by nature. The room was sparkling clean, and comfortable. Had a great night under the stars, sipping good wine, and making new acquaintances. I only suggest to book more than one night ”

We did the free trolly to learn more about Solvang, went to a great play in town, shopped, and had dinner. Stopped by Paula’s Pancake cafe on the way out of town and had a great breakfast! “I am writing this review so that the hotel can properly educate their staff on guest safety + property management NOT to get someone in trouble. Last night 6/17, the smoke alarm in my room started going off at 11pm. Obviously out of concern me and my family immediately jumped out of bed and ran out. We noticed that no other rooms evacuated and when the alarm turned off we inspected our room. No fire. Then it went off again at 11:05pm. Immediately I contacted the 24/7 contact number the hotel...

“Hotel nice and clean, spacious room. welcome and service to forget. we arrived tired and Hungry, we had to wait several minutes before we could check in because the girls at the desk was chatting with her smatphone. we hoped than to eat something at the restaurant but they told us that the entrance was not allowed to people under 21. when booking i did not find this information online, with two minor daughters I would not go there.keep in mind this information if you have minor children.”

“This is a great weekday value as you can often stay for under $240 a night. Weekend can run $400-$500. That is not worth it to be honest. Breakfast is very continental but decent. Room is very large and bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. The inn manager Caroline is awesome. ”

“The pool was nice and warm, but could have been a bit cleaner. I was not a huge fan of the style of sink in the hotel bathroom. It is really high and makes it very difficult for kids to brush their teeth. Everything else was pretty nice.”

“Property off the Main streets, for a quiet experience. Single story so no hallways to go through. Easy walk to downtown. Pet friendly. Patios front and back of Property.”

“Helpful and friendly staff (Ray). Old furnishings and fixtures, but well-maintained and clean overall. Plenty of parking spaces. In a quiet area. Good water pressure in the bathroom. Bath towels are smaller size and thin. Air-conditioning unit is a bit noisy for us.”

“The outside of the property is run down and delapidated....the outside carpeting is all torn and the whole property looks run down and needs renovation. The breakfast pastry were hard.....looks like it has been there for days. we used the hot tub and the water was too hot for me....maybe o.k. for others. the parking was good....no problem on the parking. the area is close and walking distance to the stores and restaurants.”

“My husband and I have stayed at this property several times. We love the location, the rooms, the friendly staff and how well kept the property is. This is a perfect spot to journey off to the wineries, Solvang, Lompoc or a host of any other things to do. We highly recommend the Hampton, Inn & Suites and Buelton.”
