“Loved this place. Peaceful, intimate, surrounded by nature. The room was sparkling clean, and comfortable. Had a great night under the stars, sipping good wine, and making new acquaintances. I only suggest to book more than one night ”

“Cute pictures, simple rooms, clean and quite. Not to far of the main area with activities. It was at the edge of town. Staff is only available during the afternoon for check-in.”

“We loved our stay at the Winston, as did our dog Mocha. Even though there was is no staff permanently at the hotel, whenever we did cross paths with them, they were very helpful. One of them was so kind as to put their employee microwave out for us so that we could warm up our dogs food. the room was larger than we expected and was absolutely beautiful. Parking was easy and check in was as well once we figured it out. Will stay again!”

“A quaint little room with a very comfortable bed. Reasonably priced for the amenities offered. Small parking lot if you have a large vehicle. Plenty of places to eat within crawling distance.”

“Perfect location for the SB Wine Country Half Marathon. Walking Distance to pick up bib, to Race start, and food. Really enjoyed the easy parking oh and the Hot tub. I really enjoyed the Complimentary breakfast. A decently good variety. Would Recommend this location.”

“This our first time spending overnight at Solvang. Kings Frederick is perfect for our stay. It’s so close to all the treasures/ beautiful spots of this small village. My son loves the scavenger hunt that they provide. They gave him a small present after we walked around the village and finding those historical spots. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The staffs are nice and helpful. The breakfast was good especially their danish pastry! I will for sure coming back and recommend this place to...

“The room was spacious, which made the stay especially comfortable. The large bed was incredibly cozy, with great pillows, and the room also included convenient amenities like a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom featured a relaxing jacuzzi tub — perfect for unwinding after a long day of walking and exploring. The main street, filled with coffee shops, restaurants, and local stores, was within walking distance if you don’t mind about a 2-mile walk. It was close enough to enjoy everything...

“Staff was pretty rude on the phone when we had questions about the reservation. Check-in was supposed to be 4pm, but we had to wait til 4:45pm to get our room. Room was spacious and clean. Water pressure was awesome. Not very sound proof. We could hear kids crying and running outside the room and upstair. So it really depends on how lucky you are. We were lucky enough that crying and running was only for a short period. Pool was nice!”

“Wonderful place, very clean with a lot of extra goodies free of charge. The room was unique and comfortable. Also quiet and pretty. We ate at the restaurant which served delicious food with great service. Yummy cocktails from the bar! Parking is generous everywhere too. We will definitely return and highly recommend!”
