Cottage a Surry

“The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor and the town of Ellsworth where we were able to get breakfast and dinner. Quiet and had everything we needed for our stay.”

“Wonderful, quaint, and peaceful location. A simple process to check in and check out, and a very responsive host. Would highly recommend!”

“This property is so sweet. Has everything you need in a small but comfortable place. It was also a convenient jump off point to explore the area.”

“My husband and I stayed here during our anniversary trip visiting Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. We picked this Vrbo for the great price, location, and space! The host was very responsive to messages and provided clear and concise instructions for checking in to the property. We loved having a kitchen space, a separate living and bedroom space, and a lovely back balcony/staircase. Parking at the property was a breeze, even though we had anticipated it may be tricky. “Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.”

“Cozy, charming cottage a short drive away from Southwest Harbor and Echo Lake Beach, as well as within easy access to all of Acadia. The house was very clean and well-kept, and the outdoor space, including the fire pit and grill, was great. Robbin was also an amazing host, both friendly and communicative. Would definitely stay again!”

“Stayed the night after a concert at Maine savings amphitheater it was a perfect place to stay for a good location to the amphitheater and to the airport. Cottage was very detailed with all the amenities needed for our stay! Everything was very clean and it was the perfect size for my husband and I, host communication was great! Would definitely stay here again!”

“Great location for getting around the island, and the fenced in backyard was great for the dogs! Will definitely be a place we'll stay again.”

“A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer!”

“Very good location for a base of travel more of a like home experience.”
