- Offering relaxing accommodation for two guests, this stylish single-storey bolthole makes a fantastic hideaway for couples enjoying a quiet retreat in an unforgettable part of the Welsh countryside. The property lies in a rural spot close to the northern coast of the Gower Peninsula, with a wealth of spellbinding walking trails to follow. To the north, the villages of Crofty (2 miles) and Pen-clawdd (3 miles) have some great places to eat and drink, including the Gower Brewery. Heading west and south, the peninsula is home to Weobley Castle, King Arthur's Stone Dolmen, Pennard Castle and the Gower Heritage Centre, all within 8 miles. The area has a choice of gorgeous beaches, including Rhossili Bay and Oxwich Bay Beach (both within 12 miles), with the resort of Mumbles to the south-east (11 miles). Swansea (10.5 miles) has a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Stepping inside this inviting hideaway, you will be greeted by the spacious studio-style open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom, which benefits from underfloor heating, a high vaulted and beamed ceiling, and light streaming in through the large bi-fold doors. The cheerful main living space features comfortable seating and a Smart TV, perfect for snuggling up in the evening after an exhilarating day exploring the Gower. A charming dining table to enjoy meals together, perfect for a romantic meal for two, which you can rustle up in the thoughtfully organised and fully equipped kitchen. When it's time to turn in for the night fall into the sumptuous king-size bed. The accommodation is rounded off with a modern shower room.
Bi-fold doors open out onto a generous patio with outdoor furniture, offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco as you take in the picturesque views over the large surrounding garden and across the countryside. Private parking is available for one car.
