“My 2 adult kids and I stayed for 5-days and the place was quiet, comfortable and close to many attractions. I did not give 5 stars on the condition, because the yard needs attention, and is overgrown. Other than that, I would definitely stay again! ”

“You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle. ”

“Highly recommend the host was accommodating with a last-minute reservation. Great instructions, easy to access, clean, cool aesthetic, perfect for a quick or long-term stay. Stay safe for one person, dog-friendly, and the host was easy to communicate with and even handled communication for my unique in-between Airbnb situations as a local really well. Would return and would definitely recommend to a friend.”

“Wow!! So impressed with the high standards of Hotel Ballard. Rooms were large, clean, and had amenities such as a larger fridge. The area surrounding the hotel was super quaint. Restaurants, bars, and local shops were all walkable. Highly recommended this property ”

“This is an old motel with small rooms, but it has been updated, and it's spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was provided, even though the small rooms didn't resemble the roomy suites in more modern hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very simple, but adequate with yogurt, toast, coffee and tea, cereal and Jimmy Dean's breakfast coissants. Our towels were changed daily and trash was emptied. Bed was comfy.”
