This stylish 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment has been renovated and refurbished, featuring an open plan kitchen/dining/living space with Bosch appliances. A private courtyard and deck offers an alfresco dining setting and barbecue. Just a few kilometres from Sydney’s CBD (Downtown), the apartment is walking distance to shops, eateries, Glebe Foreshore Park and the upscale ‘Tramsheds’ food hub. Rozelle Markets and King Street Newtown shopping precinct are only 10 minutes drive away.
The Space:
Ascend a short flight of stairs and you’ll arrive at this renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in charming Annandale. With polished floorboards throughout, the apartment has an open plan kitchen/dining/living area featuring stylish black ‘subway’ kitchen tile work, stone kitchen bench tops, an island bench with microwave oven and Bosch appliances, including a 3 burner induction cooktop, under-bench oven and dishwasher. The dining table seats 4 people and flows through to the living area which offers wall-mounted reverse-cycle aircon, a ‘Smart TV’, occasional chair and ‘click clack ‘ sofa which can be converted into a double bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity of the unit to 6 people if needed.
Large glass stacker doors take you from the living area to an outdoor deck where you’ll find another 4 person alfresco dining setting protected by a glass safety fence. From there, it’s a few steps down to a private, paved courtyard with gas barbecue and retractable clothes line.
Both bedrooms have queen beds, with one bedroom offering loads of wardrobe space for extended stays. The bathroom has more black subway tiling, echoing the kitchen design, as well as floor-to-ceiling white tiles and a roomy shower recess with a frameless glass screen. There’s also a European-style laundry with an Electrolux washing machine and dryer combined, and the same stylish black subway tiling. The apartment comes with portable heaters for use in the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
With its leafy streets, historic pubs and heritage homes, Annandale is a just a few kilometres from Sydney’s CBD (Downtown) but comes with a charming ‘village’ vibe. The apartment itself is less than 10 minutes walk to the shops and eateries on the corner of Johnston and Booth streets, where you can also enjoy a beer and a pub meal at the North Annandale Hotel. Other nearby attractions include Glebe Foreshore Park and the ‘Tramsheds’, a buzzy food and shopping mall housed in the former historic Rozelle Tram Depot, less than 10 minutes stroll away. Rozelle Markets and King Street Newtown shopping and restaurant hub are only 10 minutes drive.
Getting Around:
The apartment comes with a dedicated parking space, but if you prefer public transport there are bus and light rail (tram) services walking distance away which will take you into Sydney’s CBD (Downtown) in about 30 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* Have you got a baby or an infant traveling with you? We're happy to arrange the hire and delivery of baby items, subject to availability, with excellent package rates for two or more items. Please note that we require a minimum of two days notice, with full payment completed before the items are delivered.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
* Extra $40/night will be charged for guests after 4 or if the sofa bed needs to be prepared.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals and is not a hotel.
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
