Hotel bello e non lontano dalla spiaggia
Hotel bello con camere tutte al primo piano. Ci hanno fatto anche un upgrade a una camera più bella visto che ne avevano la disponibilità. Cosa molto apprezzata e che non tutti fanno. Camera con angolo cottura e terrazzino. Abbiamo mangiato anche al pub sotto che è comodissimo. parcheggio esterno e vicinanza a grocery store e benzinaio. Tattico per la spiaggia e per l'aereoporto (dista solo qualche km).

L'ingresso dell'hotel non è tanto visibile perchè l'hotel è situato sopra ad un pub e un bottle shop e per fare il checkin bisogna suonare ad una specie di cancellata. La camera nel complesso non era malvagia, abbastanza pulita e confortevole. Il soggiorno è stato piacevole ma penso che in zona si possa trovare anche qualcosa di meglio.

The owners/staff were super nice. We had flown in from the US and were early but they let is check in early so we could shower and rest. The food at the pub was great and well priced. Right next door to a grocery store if you need anything and a short walk to the beach.

Property's renovated, nice & clean The location's a bit of a walk from public transport. I couldn't get the aircon to work properly. Overall, a nice stay in this area

Rooms - clean and kept as such on the daily basis! Bathrooms - actually 5 stars, we were impressed! Stuff and cleaning service - amazing job! Location is superb! Short pleasant walk to the Maroubra beach. Metro groceries is next door. Food in the pub is great, or you can enjoy few other places next door as well. Overall great experience for the family of 5 for 12 days in Southend Hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back to our trip to Sydney!

Newly renovated rooms. It was perfect for our stay, we just wished we had time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area. We will definitely stay there again.

The bus station is nearby. With libe 396 you get direct to the center. The bearby beach is beautiful. And the foidshoop is open long and very good. Akso the hotel restaurant offers nice foid

Really good option for people travelling and staying next to the beach, We stayed there during Christmas / boxing day, and we were really pleased that there was still housekeeping during public holidays!!! Really enjoyed the room and the location.

The motel unit we stayed in was recently refurbished so was like new. The unit was reasonably quiet at night for a weekend. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach via parkland.

Great and great price
So, after looking at the prices in Sydney, we were looking for something basic. We had never been to Sydney before, so was very happy with location. It is next to a food store. Walking to the beach. The rooms a large, clean and basic. Would do it again. Could not hear bar downstairs.

Third time we have stayed at this property and we will be back again with friends in Jan 2024. We find it very convenient to our needs. Having the bistro and bar down stairs makes for an easy stay. Bathrooms could do with a little touch up and was a little miffed to find no shampoo, conditioner or shower cap in the bathroom. Otherwise a nice stay

The motel is quite old and smells not good. But for a last minute booking and for one night was ok. Sound from downstairs pub was listening. Not so clean but for 3 star motel is ok. Got what we paid So fair enough Was near the beach and next there was a local shoppings so it's quite convenience.

Great location, quiet for sleeping. Convenient for meals at pub, also Woolworths supermarket next door, bakery, fruit market and barista coffee available. Perfect!

Location was great next to WW and chemist fruit and veggie store and chicken shop, 7/11. 5 mins drive to the beach👌 Ample parking was worried about parking out in the open but my car was safe for 2 nights. Loved the bathtub and shower in room.💯💯💯 Disliked the stairs carrying heavy luggage up and down was rough.🚫 Suggest a service lift? Disappointed in the view from balcony. All I could see was the roof of the neighbouring property and rubbish and filth on the ground between properties Thank you
