IMPOSTAZIONE IMMOBILI:
Hidden Valley Retreat Cottages è convenientemente vicino a Sydney, ma non potevi più sentirti più lontani dal caos e dalla frenesia della vita quotidiana una volta arrivati. Situato su 40 ettari di terreno incontaminato vicino a Kurrajong, nell'area di Hawkesbury, siamo nascosti nei piedi delle montagne azzurre. Questo è il luogo perfetto per chi desidera rilassarsi nella pace e nella tranquillità della foresta pluviale, ascoltando gli uccelli e l'acqua corrente del torrente. Fai una passeggiata per godere della bellezza naturale del selvaggio bosco che abbraccia, sorseggiare il buon vino raccolto durante il viaggio della giornata nella valle o sedersi accanto al fuoco ascoltando la tua musica preferita; Fare quanto più o meno come ti piace.

IL COTTAGE:
Willow Cottage è una tradizionale cabina di tronchi in stile colonizzatore con due camere da letto (una regina e una doppia). Lenzuola e asciugamani freschi sono forniti e i letti hanno coperte elettriche. C'è un angolo cottura e un barbecue privato per soddisfare i pasti semplici. Il cottage vanta fuoco e aria condizionata / riscaldamento nonché un bagno doppio con getti. Vai a esplorare l'insenatura dietro il cottage o semplicemente guardare dalla tua veranda attraverso il prato pittoresco prendendo la bellezza del deserto.

LA PROPRIETÀ:
Willow Cottage è una delle cinque cabine rustiche, private, indipendenti, ognuna nella propria area separata di foresta della proprietà. Sono disponibili singolarmente o come gruppo per un massimo di 24 persone. Un campo da tennis è disponibile per l'uso sulla collina presso la casa principale.

Da vedere:
Le attrazioni nelle vicinanze includono i bellissimi giardini botanici di Mt Tomah, il caratteristico villaggio di Kurrajong, i mercati di Richmond e lo storico Windsor, tutti in 10-30 minuti di auto e merita una visita. A due passi da due parchi nazionali, i Blue Mountains e il Wollomi, per non parlare del fiume Grose ideale per una nuotata veloce, o per il fiume Hawkesbury.

Loved our stay. Totally isolated but within easy driving distance of anything that might be needed. Cabins are gorgeous, you’re really encouraged to switch off. Some creature comforts like air con were appreciated! Will be staying again.

We loved our long weekend at Willow Cabin. I wanted our little family to have a go at a screen free getaway. I was nervous that the kids would be bored but not even close. They loved the freedom and fun and the cabin had everything we needed for making some new memories. Kitchen and BBQ meant we could cook anything we wanted. A selection of games and books (there’s also DVDs for the TV). Cute babbling creek a short walk away. Other cabins in the property but felt very private. We loved fruit picking at Bilpin and lots of little towns in the Blue Mountains to check out. I’d hoped to do some of the excellent bushwalking trails but it was hot weather so the kids and I settled for a short trail and stopping at some look-outs. Our dog had a wonderful time running around, chewing sticks, sniffing and taking herself for a paddle in the creek. We appreciated the air conditioning in summer but would love to come back in winter to try the indoor fireplace.

We stayed from 23-26 April 2024. The places was clean and tidy and packed with all thr necesities. The Hidden Valley is in deed hidden. Just sounds of nature. You have to see to fully appreciate. Fiona and Mike were wonderful. They provided a lot of info about travelling there and things to do in the area. We will be back.

No internet, no reception, no TV - that meant having time to appreciate each other, be more aware of our surroundings, have fun. The kids learnt how to build a fire. And do BBQ. They played badminton, volleyball, frisbee, hide & seek, etc. At night, we played board games, which was really fun. And a lot of singing in between. It was nice listening to happy voices. Rustic - that's how I would describe our cabin. But we had everything we needed. Hot water, heating, cooking appliances, electricity... I love the open space, green surroundings... We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Fiona.

We booked this simple cabin three friends and we had a great time. The cabin has everything you’d need except from the food. Walking to the creek is 2 minutes, I had great time sitting on the rocks and listening to the sound of the water. There are 4 more cabins available in the property but they have enough distance to ensure privacy. We were also lucky that the closest cabin to ours (~300m) wasn’t booked. Fiona is a good host, very communicative, positive and reliable. I would recommend this place and I’ll probably take my family in the near future. Thanks Fiona!

Loved the feeling of isolation of Willow Cottage - just what I needed at this time. The cottage looked exactly how I imagined it from the photos. Although the facilities were sufficient for such a getaway, the interior decor is well overdue for an update. Curtains and screens need replacing as well as the two seater lounge. The books, DVDs and CDs left for guests’s enjoyment were very old and dirty. The living area itself was also needing a good dust and thorough clean particularly with the open fire. The best aspect was enjoying the surroundings and the peacefulness while sitting on the verandah in the early mornings watching my two fur babies running free having the time of their lives. Thank goodness there’s a DIY dog washing facility close by in North Richmond.

We loved Hidden Valley! It was quiet, beautiful and natural. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The best part was that we could take our dog. We all had a great time away from it all. We will be back!

We had a wonderfully restful time in this little getaway cottage. Warm and cozy and set in beautiful bushland surrounds. It was so easy to access from Sydney, yet we felt far from the worries of the world. Thank you for a great long weekend!
