This place is nothing like the photos. Hotel is completely outdated. I booked the royal double room it was so small and was not what the pictures showed. Bathroom shower floor was broken, and sink, super dirty. Place just needs renovation. Greeting from Reception was poor. Eventually they gave me much better room, transportation going to this hotel is very bad because there is construction front of the hotel. Overall I would not recommend if you’re looking for a clean place. Breakfast was decent and do not provide bottle water and have to pay. Floor Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable hotel with great service
We enjoyed our stay, although the hotel is a little rough around the edges. Some of the rooms had an awful chemical smell, the noise pollution from outside was 24/7. Staff are really helpful and friendly, service from hotel staff was excellent but the hotel restaurants were very slow. Location is great for shopping trips in Sylhet.

Great experience and very enjoyable!
Overall excellent experience and enjoyable stay. Facilities - from Room (upgrade) to ‘Antalya’ dining, coffee shop and leisure were extremely good. Staff at all levels from MD to Reception, including Restaurant and Housekeeping were courteous, genuinely caring and professional.

the noor jahan is in a prime location and was close to everything we needed. the rooftop restaurant, pool and ambiance was fantastic! however the rooms are a little run down and our toilet stopped working in the middle of the night with no mechanic available to fix it. other than that issue, we really did enjoy our stay.

Impressive service.
My overall experience was excellent. I would like to thank the hotel staff on their impeccable service. They were professional, friendly and personal in their approach especially Mamun (captain bell boy) A Sultana and the reception staff. The security person at the main door was always helpful. Overall the staff were 5*.

...think TWICE before selecting...
My REVIEW will effects the guests who stayed untill 2021 . I stayed in 2021...and once I checked in this time... everything feels different...later I found out... MANAGEMENT has been changed . 2 points in here...NOT CLEAN and FOOD'S conditions simply UNEXCEPTIONABLE . I personally exchanged my point of views with reception and restaurant staffs...they all agreed and point theirs fingers towards NEW MANAGEMENT.

The best hotel in Sylhet!!!
I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The room was very clean, furniture's were excellent. Plugs, switches, hot water, electrics - all worked. Breakfast was fantastic. But the best of all are some of their staff. I would like to mention two by name - Sadya at the reception was so kind and helpful. The GM was very friendy and professional and the biggest asset of the Hotel. I have recommended Noorjahan Hotel to all my friends and family. Even the the owner Dr Ahmed was very friendly and took time out to talk to guests.

the Noorjahan experience!
Having previously stayed elsewhere in Sylhet I was invited a member of staff to try the Noorjahan Grand. I was not disappointed and my stay was enjoyable in all respects. Staff were helpful efficient and courteous, particularly the check in /reception team. Restaurant menu offered a varied good choice and the food was both well presented and tasty. Overall a good stay, good value for money but in future would prefer not to stay in the business single room - small and no natural light but was still very comfortable at the price!

Really good hotel
I stayed at the hotel for 10 days - hotel was nice and clean, staff were very helpful and breakfast / food was really nice. I would stay again and recommend this hotel to people.

Probably the best hotel room service in sylhet, I've visited few Hotel in Sylhet recently but NoorJahan Grand is the best one specially the room service, they cleaned my room every single day which very rear in Sylhet hotels now days. Thanks lads keep it up.

Hotel its self is very nice and clean, staff were very friendly and so everything to make your stay safe and comfortable. Only issue I had was noise from the street and I was too tired to change room. Next time I will choose different room. Breakfast was amazing, food was very tasty and there were variety choice to choose from. Bed was very comfortable to sleep.

Located at the heart of the city Noorjahan Grand is the best hotel in sylhet. Rooms are of top quality. Hotel interior and exterior are simply amazing. Most importantly the rooms are crystal clean. Thanks to the housekeeping team. During our 3 nights stay we found staffs to be extremely welcoming and helpful. Every time we called a room service, staffs attended just within minutes. The restaurant is located on the 14th floor where you can enjoy amazing views of the city. Food quality was very good too. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose Noorjahan grand next time we are visiting sylhet.

Its all about the service!!
I have to say that I was left quite impressed as the room was quite delightful and the service was quite brilliant, the staff at Noorjahan keen to please and make the stay pleasant and hassle free. They have a great restaurant on the 14th floor, really well prepared food. Perhaps a little more expensive than other restaurants in the locality but the food was freshly prepared, the kitchen and dining area clean and hygienic and again, great service. Just wish they varied the buffet breakfast a little more. Wifi was great in places, not so in other places but to fair, they were repairing this just before I checked out. Overall, a great hotel and one which I look forward to visiting again soon.

Overall, this hotel looks good. Apart from cleanliness, hygiene. Not all rooms have a window that can be opened or there is no window to open at all. The windows are so dirty that you can hardly see anything outside. The rooms are cleaned with some smelly chemicals/Grand Suite room/. You can also book room 915 or 916 directly at the hotel /The Royal Suites/. These rooms are equipped with a small kitchenette, NO plates, pots, cutlery, just nothing. If you want to cook something, you have to go to the store and buy something to cook and eat. This kitchen is just decoration. As for the city of Sylhet, it is a city where, after leaving the hotel, you are attacked by street beggars. At every turn, there is no place in this city without people collecting money. This is really very unpleasant and makes you not want to take a normal walk on the street. Apart from tea fields and two rivers over 50 km away, there is nothing to look at. never again

Sehr zentrale Lage, gut erreichbar. Gutes Zimmer. WiFi wackelig, oft überlastet oder nicht erreichbar. Sehr schön ist die Dachterrasse mit wunderbarer Aussicht und einem angenehmen Schwimmbad. Frühstücksraum bzw. Restaurant zuoberst, schöne Sicht. Service, zB. Abräumen, ist beim Frühstück rasch überfordert. Kleine Kartonbecherchen für Tee und Kaffee statt grosse Tassen. Grosse Essensauswahl. Lifte brauchen meist sehr lange, bis sie ankommen. Alles in allem eine gute zentrale Unterkunft zu einem vernünftigen Preis.
