Ortigia Duomo Luxury apartment terrace free WI-FI Climatizzato 2 camere da letto

Luminoso, climatizzato e finemente arredato, all'ingresso di Piazza Duomo in Ortigia.
Zona giorno climatizzata, con divano, cucina, forno, macchina del caffè, frigorifero, smart TV a schermo piatto. Lavatrice, asse e ferro da stiro disponibili.
2 camere da letto matrimoniali con bagno in camera. Entrambe climatizzate.
4 balconi abitabili su Via Landolina e Via Amalfitania + terrazzino privato di pertinenza.


Ortigia è soggetta a ZTL (zona a traffico limitato), quindi ci sono alcune restrizioni che non vi consentono di guidare all'interno dell'isola durante alcune fasce orarie.

Nei giorni feriali, la ZTL è attiva dalle 20 alle 2am;
il Sabato ed i pre-festivi è attiva dalle 16 alle 2am;
la Domenica ed i festivi è attiva dalle 11am alle 2am.

Fuori da questi orari, potrete guidare all'interno dell'isola ed anche raggiungere l'appartamento in auto.

In ogni caso, per qualsiasi dubbio, vi basterà consultare il cartello elettronico che troverete all'ingresso di Ortigia, subito prima del Ponte Santa Lucia.
Se dice "ZTL NON ATTIVA", potete entrare in auto; se dice "ZTL ATTIVA", non potrete oltrepassare il ponte, dovrete girare a sinistra ed attraversare il secondo ponte, Ponte Umbertino, per poter raggiungere i principali parcheggi pubblici.

Riguado il parcheggio:

1- Potete parcheggiare nel parcheggio pubblico TALETE; ha un costo di € 15 per 24h o di 1. 50€ l'ora e si trova all'ingresso dell'isola, 10 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento.
Questa è anche l'opzione migliore quando la ZTL è attiva, poichè lo si può comunque raggiungere quando l'isola è chiusa al transito auto.

- Posso prenotare per voi un garage privato, che dista 200 metri dall'appartamento.
Ha un costo di €20,00 al giorno e segnaleranno la vostra targa alla polizia locale, così da autorizzarvi a guidare all'interno di Ortigia anche quando la ZTL sarà attiva.
Vi prego però di tenere a mente che i posti sono limitati ed andrà quindi prenotato in anticipo.

Perfect location

This is a perfect apartment for travelers. It is ideally located off the main piazza in Ortigia, convenient to walking everywhere in Ortigia and close to pick up points for Taxi and Uber to explore Syracuse. The apartment is clean, bathrooms modern and each room opens to the streets below for morning coffee or enjoying the sounds of the city. The host arranged a lock-box for us because we weren't sure when we would arrive and it worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable with temperature control in each room. We didn't have to walk more than a block to find great food and warm friendly hosts. One of our favorites is right under the apartment.

Superb location and beautiful apartment

We loved our stay. The apartment is exquisite, and right in the middle of an historic, fun neighborhood. It’s on a corner of two pedestrian streets, and although it’s busy, it’s quiet with the windows closed. We would definitely stay there again. So many restaurants and cool shops and street vendors. Don’t miss the Fish House Art Gallery a block away. And we loved the boat ride around the island.

Great location

Lovely apartment! The location couldn’t have been better for walking out the door and being the middle of walking streets. This is an old building but the owner has updated the interior. The beds are ok, a bit hard if you are use to soft beds. There are 15 stairs up. The kitchen has pots and pans, a nice coffee maker but note NO forks or knives.

Heart of the city

What a superb apartment - tasteful decor, spacious, located in excellent spot, and great communication with host. Host was super helpful with parking arrangements, suggestions for activities and aided us when we needed a later checkout when a family member was not feeling well. We loved this place!

Gorgeous apartment in the middle of lovely Ortigia

This is a very nicely appointed apartment situated in the middle of the tourist area of Ortigia. That said, it wasn't too loud with the windows closed. The apartment is great. Up one flight of steps and you're there. The two bedrooms are beautiful, each with a large bathroom. The kitchen/living area is where we hung out. We had two small issues - a blown fuse and no hot water - which were easily fixed with a phone call to the host (though the hot water heater has quite a small tank. If you're 4 people showering at the same time, take short showers!!). Overall, we loved it and hope to be back one day.

The location was central making exploring easy but one of the bedrooms over looked the main street and was noisy. There was no hot water until early evening which was a big problem and then it had gone by 10pm.

A fabulous apartment

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in Ortegia. Thanks to this wonderful apartment in the middle of a charming area with two balconies to enjoy the hum of passersby’s on a pedestrian only street. (it does get to be a little bit noisy as it is a pedestrian street, but unlike other cities, it quiets down at a reasonable hour of the evening. ) The apartment was very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms, comfortable kitchen/ living area and… 2 unbelievable showers!!! Everything was within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, patisseries, and an amazing Duomo in the impressive city square. We ate at the little restaurant under us called “A Putia di Gingio” where we happened to chat with two other couples near us from other countries. We became fast friends and met up with them the next few days. I cannot say enough of how wonderful this apartment, Ortegia, and its people are. We will definitely come back soon.

Heaven!

This apt is exactly as pictured in the photographs, and the location could not be more perfect. Just to know, one bedroom is quiet, but you do hear noises from the street in the second bedroom. But the apt is beautiful as is Ortigia, so who cares! The rental agent was also wonderful. Very welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. I do hope to return, so I hope this great review does not mean the apt will not be available next year for me!

The unit is located in a pedestrian only area. Once we met up with Emilia, she walked us to the apartment and then walked with us to where we had left the car and showed us where to find parking for our car. She was also available to answer our questions. One caution to light sleepers. This unit is in a very active pedestrian area. At night, there was music playing and plenty of street noise that could be heard from the one bedroom. The one other issue was the mold growing on the walls and ceiling above the shower in the one bedroom. These are 12-15 foot ceilings but anyone sensitive to mold may have a problem. Despite these issues, we had a great time in Ortigia.

Loved the apartment! Nice decor. Clean & comfy. Emilia was 10/10 on all questions and gave great food recommendations. The only drawback was that because of the pigeon droppings, we couldn’t sit out on the balconies.

Great Location

This is a lovely apartment in the heart of Ortigia. We were met by the Property Manager who helped us to find the local parking garage and showed us the property and gave us some local recommendations. The common area is quite small but perfect for friends travelling together as the bedrooms are on each side of the common area so it gives you privacy. We were there on a holiday weekend so it was a little noisy but I would definitely book again.

The property was centrally located and close to everything in Ortigia. The street below the apartment is awash with dining options. During the day, the street noise is relatively low, but it can be quite noisy at night....as late as 3:00 AM. The apartment is very large and well decorated...quite comfortable. The only negative is the lack of water hot enough to clean dished without supplementing it with boiling water from the kettle. The host was very communicative and was able to help us if needed. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Fabulous location and apartment

Live like a local! You can't get a better location. Entertaining street theatre viewing from the two balconies, super high ceilings, fully stocked kitchen, oversized bathrooms, and a wonderful property manager. One of the best places we've stayed. Sad to leave.

L'appartement est superbe , bien agencé , chaque chambre avec son sanitaire complet est très appréciable. Au coeur du centre historique ( Ortigia est magnifique ) , tout est à proximité , nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le seul petit bémol , il y a des travaux de rénovation de bâtiments tout prés de la chambre donnant sur la rue et le matin les ouvriers commencent un peu trop tôt . Emilia nous a très bien accueillis , elle nous a donné quelques conseils pratiques et nous la remercions vivement
