Dear guest,I remember you very well:1) because this is an exception, as our guests always use reviews as a conscious tool and not as a blackmail tool for the simple purpose of obtaining refunds, denied (yes, the owner is kind but not stupid)2) because you showed up in the breakfast room like a fury with brutish, rude and threatening manners, saying that the air conditioning was not working (immediately checked and working perfectly), while the other guests ate and talked lovingly praising the B&B and the city.But let's get to the topic:- the air conditioning is new, well maintained and working flawlessly, as reported in all review platforms, it is absolutely normal that once the card is taken out it stops working, it is called "energy saving" and it is a practice adopted in all over the world, once turned on it cools the room in a few minutes, we are sorry to note a lack of sensitivity on energy and climate issues, especially nowadays. We remind our guests that, on the contrary, we care about the environment and do everything to respect it, using all possible tools. We prefer not to comment on the insinuations and lies mentioned, there is nothing to say…- breakfast was scheduled at the time you requested, again, there's not much to add.- breakfast ranges from sweet to savoury, Sicilian and standard dishes, drinks of all kinds, we are certainly not at the level of a 5-star deluxe hotel, but in our family-run B&B category, according to other feedback, it seems that we are doing well.- the towels smell like "clean", maybe your sense of smell was confused by heavy dinner which also made you nervous and grumpy towards other guests as well.- we are in the city center, fortunately a few hundred meters away from the chaos of the island of Ortigia but still in the central area and on the main street, the windows are so acoustically performing that practically no sound passes through, but obviously, in order to guarantee insulation, these must be kept closed at night, also to ensure that the room is air-conditioned... but we have already talked about this.We are sorry for the bad experience we had hosting you, but we are glad that these experiences are only a very small part of our normality and our dear guests.
