Pros:
This hotel quickly became one of my favorites during our Taiwan trip. It's a Japanese-inspired, minimalist property that makes excellent use of space without sacrificing comfort. Though compact, the hotel is thoughtfully designed and feels freshly refurbished — more like a proper business hotel. There's even a tiny elevator at the back!
The amenities were well-equipped, and the carpeted floors added to the comfort. A surprising highlight was the toilet — fully electronic, complete with a warm seat and a bidet function. It genuinely added a touch of luxury to the stay. The lighting was pleasant, and overall, the space felt cozy, clean, and modern. Easily one of the most comfortable stays on our itinerary.
It is just a 2-minute walk to DaDaoCheng Wharf. Be sure to time your travel to catch the gorgeous sunset and the glowing skyline.
Cons:
The entrance is discreet and may take a moment to locate — there’s no prominent hotel facade, so keep an eye out. There’s no front desk; all check-in is self-service via a kiosk machine. You’ll need to contact the hotel in advance (usually via their Line account) to receive the building access passcode — be sure to do this before your arrival.
Daily housekeeping isn’t automatic, but requests can be made via Line. The towels provided were functional, though a bit worn — one had a small hole. I personally didn’t mind, but if you're particular about towel quality, it might be worth bringing your own.
