When we were checking in the young man who checked us in was somewhat officious and gave us misinformation about the pool, saying that they did not provide bathing caps, and rather imperiously directed us to a nearby department store. We dutifully went and bought our caps, but when we went swimming, the very nice pool lady said they indeed had bathing caps if we wanted to borrow them. It was a bad introduction to what is quite a nice hotel. Our only other complaint is that the pool hours were quite short. The unfriendly check in guy said that even though the pool was open till 5, last entry was at 4. Who knows if that is true — he was wrong about the bathing caps! But we did not test it out.
Having said that, the rest of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite excellent in quality and variety of foods on offer. And the pool (when open) was very nice. Room was nice and had a good view.
