“The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and...

“Clean room, beautiful location, easy parking. Enjoyed our stay there and looking out onto the stunning estuary. Great to be able to borrow a spade for hot water beach. Good base to see the surrounding area. Would recommend.”

“Beautiful. The watergardens are so peaceful and the longer walk to the waterfall for swimming was worth the climb. Our " house" was beautifully decorated and breakfast was great with all we could want. A hidden gem well worth the trip.”

“We stayed in one of the lodges that was well-equipped, a good size and with a verandah. Unfortunately not overlooking the beach but it was only a short distance away - if you want a sea view then double check when booking. Also we stayed towards the end of season and the bar and pizza place on site were closed Monday and Tuesday but it was only a 10 minute walk into Hahei for cafes and a great brewery serving food. Couldn’t fault the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. ”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, just a short walk to Coromandel Town centre. Staff were helpful; didn't actally meet anyone due to late check-in but they enabled me to gain entry via messaging.”

“Parking was easy. They asked if I wanted a big bed, as it was just me I said no, but a twin bed ended up being too small. When they ask if you want a big bed, say yes.”
