“Beds were super comfy, kitchen is pretty well equipped and the bathrooms are lovely. There was, however, some things overlooked in regards to cleaning. Outdoor table was very dirty, much of the livingroom was dusty and there was no bin bag in the ensuite bathroom. Some.of the cutlery was dirty and there was an ornamental/fruit(?) bowl with mold in it. The fridge and freezer had a lot of old food left, much of which was expired, so that was a shame. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Just a few things...

“The staff were very helpful and the unit was clean and tidy. The shower was really good. Some of the gardens were a little untidy. Our bed was a little hard and the door locks were annoying as they automatically locked when you closed the door so you had to take the keys whenever you went outside. ”

“This place was amazing. We loved the view of the volcano and the cleanliness of the accommodations. The host was spectacular. We needed to wash some of our clothes and the host offered to wash them for us. I would definitely recommend this place and wished we could’ve stayed longer. ”

“Excellent everything. 50 minute drive to New Plymouth each day so early start and late return. Great to return home each night to a lovely home. Had everything we needed to relax after a hard day at "the office" - Matatini. ”

“Beautiful accomodation. Very clean and spacious. It was so peaceful and we loved listening to the bird sounds. Unfortunately we had limited time so didn’t get to enjoy the short walk to the beach. Hopefully we will be back soon. ”

“Came down from Auckland with my brother for the local high schools 100 year centenary celebrations.The accommodation was tidy, comfortable and with tasteful decor.We enjoyed the farm experience of open and closing gates and watching the cows come in from milking.”
