“Only a one night stay with our son and new wife to celebrate their wedding that day. Staff were amazing and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Made use of the pool and sauna and quiet areas although had to stop using the pool for the aerobics class. Had dinner in the Upper Deck restaurant which was lovely. Again brilliant staff who new their stuff”

“This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. We loved this place ”

“We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. Being accessible it was on the ground floor and very convenient to the car park. The room was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed two evening meals at the hotel, as well as breakfast both mornings,...

“I arrived early, the staff were super friendly and let ne put my bags in a store room. Chaeck in later on was speedy, all staff i met were delightful. I had room 138. Compact double. The bed was really comfy, great pillows. Decent shower. Didnt get disturbed at all. Would book again”

I would say there should be some upgrades made to the tv to be bigger, a more comfortable mattress, and if there was a way to make the floors less squeaky that’d be great. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.”
