“Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean.
We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby.
If we were to return to the area we would come back here. ”
“We stopped from 7th July to 11th July this year 2025. We had a lovely break in the Durley Dean, its clean and tidy and the staff are first class, very friendly. Ok its dated but its Victorian. The bus stops are 200 yards away from the hotel entrance in the direction of Bournemouth and the buses are frequent to lots of local towns and resorts. We were out every day going to somewhere. Swanage, Poole, Westbourne and Christchurch. We would go again. Thank you Durley Dean”
“The room was beautiful, the shower big, but the water had low pressure. The Lounge was also beautiful and the breakfast was good (English breakfast with good sausege). My little doggie Shih-tzu, was welcomed and happy, with cuddles from the staff and other guests. ”
