“From stepping foot into the hotel, we were greeted with smiles from the lovely staff. Our room was lovely, much bigger than expected and was clean. The windows don’t open but the air conditioning kept the room cool all night. We didn’t hear the slightest bit of noise during our stay so it really was peaceful. “Clean rooms and staff were very helpful. The spa and bar were lovely. The only thing was that the level 8 sky bar was not open, even though I was told that it was open on a Friday, we were looking forward to it. Also although there was a slice of moldy bread found, the supervisor was very apologetic and removed the container which it was in. Our stay was very nice. ”

“It's a rare joy to find a hotel with in room controlled aircon. I'd rebook just for that! The hotel is a grand old place and parking is a nightmare. But it's well situated with a sea walk just yards from your door and a surprisingly quiet location close to town.”

The staff were excellent, Yuko on reception and Tom who looked after us with afternoon tea, where both exceptional and a credit to the hotel, both were very professional and polite.
