“Clean rooms and staff were very helpful. The spa and bar were lovely. The only thing was that the level 8 sky bar was not open, even though I was told that it was open on a Friday, we were looking forward to it. Also although there was a slice of moldy bread found, the supervisor was very apologetic and removed the container which it was in. Our stay was very nice. ”

“Our room was very. Clean. *****Comfortable bed *****so had a good nights sleep. Plenty of milk, tea, coffe and hot chocolate , which was a nice surprise! ***** All the Staff were very helpful/friendly!!! REALLY enjoyed our overnight stay, and will be returning in tbe near future 🙂”

“Lovely stay, food very good and staff were very attentive and excellent service. The only thing was there was a problem with the hot water and the bathroom door handle was broken. This was sorted out as soon as we informed the staff who were extremely helpful. We will definitely be staying there again!”

“The hotel is very well located and the staff are great: kind, ready and nice. We had a room with a very nice view. Only the room that was large needs to be refurbished as the whole hotel. It was nice in the sixties.”

“Clean room, with coffee and tea facilities in the room! Spa was clean, modern and great outdoor pool! Would definitely book again! Nice view of the seaside and close to the centre of Bournemouth. Only downside was the parking, as limited spaces best to get there early to get a spot. ”

“Loved this place. Opposite BIC so not far to go home! Hotel great communication after I altered room set up. It was exactly as I'd asked. They were so friendly, particularly on reception. Lovely large clean windows with pier/sea view. Will definitely stay again when attending BIC. Only quibble, very little choice at breakfast. Not a lot of healthy food, no fruit and coffee was odd. Cooked food was good.”

“Great hotel, has an old school country club feel about it, with lovely grounds to the front overlooking the sea. The night I stayed, there was a fantastic Jazz evening followed by someone playing a few tunes on the babygrand piano (me!). Short walk to the centre and main attractions. Like an oasis in an urban dessert, I cannot recommend it enough. I look forward to a return visit soon.”

“Wonderful Family Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic two-night family break at the Cumberland Hotel. We booked a family room with a king-size bed and bunk beds, and used Tesco Clubcard points which was a great bonus. We arrived just before check-in, easily found parking, and were warmly welcomed. “Jane and Ged were fantastic: so friendly and welcoming, and the place is lovely. We stayed in the top floor room with the air conditioning due to the heat, and slept comfortably despite the hot weather. The bathroom was a little snug for my broad shoulders, but still fine. “A lovely peaceful hotel, beautifully decorated. Pleasant staff. Relaxing bar and lounge. Good choice at breakfast. Free parking and ideally located with a shortish walk to the beach (via Toft zigzag). Not too far from town centre which is 5 mins by car.”
