“Lovely room, clean with plenty of space. Very comfortable bed and everything provided that you would need. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was despite the fact that they were dealing with flooding outside the pub following a storm.”

“The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. “Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again.”

“The property and location were lovely. We were welcomed by the owner of the property. Everything was prepared and clean. The room was lovely with beautiful views across the country side. We had tea/coffee and biscuits supplied in the rooms with fresh milk. The breakfast was all fresh. Cooked breakfast available in whatever format you requested. The only negative was the shower facilities. The shower was in the bath and hand held. There was no bracket to hold the shower head. Also there was no...
