“Staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and very comfortable, as was the bed. Loved my patio overlooking the sea. Location was fantastic as could walk to the Penguin Tour and to the Lobster Shack and just about anything else you would need in this very lovely, very welcoming town.”

“What a great stay! Our room was located on the top floor and had amazing views! The room was spotlessly clean and had a great walk in shower. Great value for money. Have already booked again.”

“We originally booked an ocean view tent but were asked if we would mind taking an upgrade in an ocean view villa as the owner was away and the tents were not prepared for guests. We were fine with either option. The villa was clean, private and well appointed. The view was stunning. We did not meet any staff so cannot comment. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook a meal. The only issue was the water conservancy. I understand tank water conservancy and have lived on tank water before, but...

“Great spot, should have stayed two nights as much more comfy than previous spot. Super quiet, penguin viewing evening tour lots of fun plus we saw a bonus bandicoot! Service OK, restaurant shut but it's very close to other venues tho they do close early. Bicheno blowhole worth a look. Was 2m high at low tide on a calm day so must really get pumping at times.”
