“Stayed in the new rooms (Gordon) first night which were excellent. Second night we stayed in one of the older apartments with my brother and father. It was very basic but did the job. The restaurant area with fireplace, bar, lounge was great to chill out and enjoy the view across the lake. Food was good although they do share plates and it is a bit pricey for what you get. Overall the food was quite good.”

“Perfect for us as we did the Railtrack Riders the next day. We really appreciated the twin beds as 2 single people travelling together. ”

“The owner was very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Would have liked a microwave in the cabin but it’s not a deal breaker. The gas log fire in the cabin was lit which made for a warm and cozy welcome when we checked in. The bed and bedding were nice, warm and comfortable. As it gets pretty cold there, electric blankets might be a nice touch, that way you don’t need to leave the gas heater on most of the night. All in all, we had a lovely time.”

“The room, the beds, the amenities, but most of all the amazing Manager, our stay was over tje Xmas break, so some of her staff were away, yet she kept up with all that needed doing, which was a lot. I woulx recomend the Gold Rush Inn to anyone staying over in Queenstown. ”
