Tathra Beach Shack / Character & Magic Views

Tathra Beach Shack è uno dei cottage originali di Tathra e si trova sul promontorio meridionale con vista sulla spiaggia di Tathra. Il cottage trasuda carattere con pavimenti in legno originali in tutta la zona giorno e camino originale per tenerti comodo durante la notte.

Due delle tre camere da letto dispongono di letti queen size e vista direttamente sulla spiaggia. La terza camera ha due letti singoli. La camera da letto principale è una grande sala ampia con ensuit e TV.

Il cottage ha una splendida terrazza prendisole che si collega al soggiorno che trasuda sole e si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia con un barbecue.

Circondato da cespugli offre molta privacy e vanta una vista ininterrotta sulla spiaggia che lo rende il luogo ideale per una vacanza al mare.

Tathra Area / Cose da fare

Tathra è viziata da parchi e riserve nazionali, bellissime spiagge, estuari incontaminati e fiumi. Scegli il tuo sport acquatico - pesca fluviale e d'altura, kayak, surf o semplicemente rilassati sulla bellissima spiaggia di Tathra, che è una breve passeggiata lungo i gradini della casa.

I parchi nazionali offrono lagune sicure per il nuoto, aree pic-nic e piste per passeggiate nei boschi per soddisfare tutti i livelli di fitness. Rilassati e goditi un caffè al bar Tathra Wharf: il molo è uno dei pochi moli marittimi della costa orientale dell'Australia. Per l'intrattenimento serale ci sono numerosi buoni ristoranti nella zona e perché non finire la serata con un po 'di musica dal vivo e bevande nel locale Tathra Hotel. Se ci sei un venerdì potresti persino vincere le gare di granchio !!!!

Una breve passeggiata lungo le scale per la spiaggia, i negozi e il Bowling Club. Passeggiata molto breve su per la collina per l'hotel, il supermercato, l'ufficio postale e l'edicola.

Merimbula con un aeroporto è a soli 25 minuti di distanza con cinema e molti negozi per ottenere la tua terapia al dettaglio !!

Rodent infestation and serious hygiene issues.

We really wanted to love this place, but had some MAJOR hygiene issues throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the place upon arrival was abysmal. There were mouse droppings throughout the kitchen cupboards and over all the cutlery, crockery and drinking mugs. When we went to make up the bed, there was a significant amount of mouse poo under the pillows and on top of the mattress. Our toddler was woken frequently throughout the week as it was likely a mouse was running over her in her sleep. We had to set traps and every morning deal with what we found. Additionally, there were a number of other cleanliness issues (bats inside the house and inappropriate things left lying around by the previous guest) and we ended up having to throw out a large portion of our dry food due to these unhygienic conditions.We were very disappointed with the communication we received from the hosts and had to justify a number of times as to why we were upset. During the stay, they refunded less than 10% of the overall fee but did not compensate for our food losses.Had we not had these issues, it would have been a pleasant stay. The location is superb and the house functional - but this was a very disappointing and frustrating situation to have to deal with on our holiday.

Delightful

We had a great time at the beach shack. This is truly a unique property and I feel very priviledged to have had the opportunity to stay here. The period features of the house are beautiful, and I don't think anyone could get tired of the view. It was the perfect place for us and our dogs to get away for a week. We will be back!

Perfect holiday for us and our 2 fur babies. Exquisite location. Fantastic views over the coast from the deck. Very homey. Beds super comfy also with lovely views along the beach. 2nd time here and we just love it.

Original family shack

Loved this place and would definitely stay again. Just remember that it’s an original beach shack (the way they used to be) so don’t expect all the mod cons! Still has everything you’d need.

Cosy beach shack in perfect location

We loved our stay at the Tathra Beach Shack! So much character and so close to the beach and with the most amazing views. It has everything you need and the beds are very comfortable too. Best sleeps overlooking the ocean while listening to the waves. The owners Kerry and John are very helpful and easy to communicate with. We arrived late and Kerry waited for us to make sure we find the place in the dark and greeted us with fresh eggs from her chickens and herbs from her garden. We really appreciated that we could bring our dog and he was not only tolerated but most welcomed! Thank you Kerry and John, we will be back!

Gorgeous location and great view

The shack is a shack - an older home but very comfortable and in an amazing location. So close to the beach and village. Host is very quick to get back to you and communication through our stay was very welcoming - tips and advice. Overall fabulous place to stay particularly with our dogs. Host, very relaxed. Home, rustic but very comfortable with sensational views

Old school family beach shack

We had a fabulous time staying here. It’s not flash and nor does it pretend to be. Instead it’s perfect for a comfortable, relaxed holiday with no need to worry if the kids touch things or are loud or the dogs sit on the couch. With amazing views and convenience to both the beach, local shops and the headland you couldn’t ask for a better location in Tathra. Great communication from the owners too. We would love to return again next year.

The name is perfect, it truly is a beach shack, full of character. The location is amazing and access to the beach quick & easy. The owners are so friendly & helpful too. If you’re after modern, this place is not for you. We look forward to another visit one day.

Wonderful stay
