“The staff were warmly & friendly. The location is quiet and restful with beautiful surroundings. Close to town & scenic river walks. The hotel is very run down though. Creaky floors with thin walls. Shower was warm not hot. TV had great use of Apps to stream from my phone. Heat pump was lovely. I enjoyed my stay for the price I paid.”

“Every time we travel to Taupo we stay at Mototere holiday park. It is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Trout fishing over the road is good. Trucks passing on main road through the night we thought would be a problem, after our first stay it didn't become an issue at all. Only 15 minutes travel from Taupo it is a excellent place to rest up and relax. Thank you Mototere holiday park, we will be back”

“Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo.”

“Fantastic place to stay in Taupō. We booked a basic cabin but were given a cabin with a mini kitchen and lots of extra space. Having a kettle, microwave, sink etc was very helpful and contributed to a comfortable stay. We were also given a small bottle of milk for teas and coffees in the room. The cabin was cosy, warm, and very close to the shared bathroom facilities. The facilities at this resort were spotless, spacious and there were an abundance of showers and toilets. The thermal baths...

“We were just okay with it. Certainly needs some maintenance done more often. Very jaded. Lovely to have our room serviced. Clean towels etc.Was not expecting that. Location quite good. No lake view which was disappointing. Price was realistic.”

“The bedroom was very tired, chipped walls, a large chunk out of the plaster on the corner. Seemed to be dirt and dust under the glass on the desk. Dirty/dust where the carper meets the mini bar cupboard. Great underground carp park for a fee but worth it to charge my EV.”

“The unit was clean and spacious, well stocked and had a private hot tub outside which was lovely to relax in after an adventurous day. The larger geothermal pool was also a treat but not easy to get in or out for those who have low mobility. The owner was very approachable and helpful. Plenty of car parks but a little tricky backing out of some spaces. Enjoyed our stay.”

“You can only turn into the driveway from one direction so it meant we had to u-turn to get in. There is no lifts so needed to use stairs with suitcases. Staff was lovely and friendly, and the view was gorgeous!”

“Very comfortable, felt like a private batch than a motel. The extra single bed was great. Love the unique decor! We stayed in winter but it would be stunning in summer with use of a lovely back garden common area.”
