“Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo.”

“Every time we travel to Taupo we stay at Mototere holiday park. It is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Trout fishing over the road is good. Trucks passing on main road through the night we thought would be a problem, after our first stay it didn't become an issue at all. Only 15 minutes travel from Taupo it is a excellent place to rest up and relax. Thank you Mototere holiday park, we will be back”

“We had a lovely stay at Pukawa Village. Our apartment, 15A, overlooked a beautiful garden and the stunning Lake Taupō, making every morning and evening feel incredibly special. The surroundings were so serene and peaceful , truly the perfect place to relax and unwind. “The unit was clean and spacious, well stocked and had a private hot tub outside which was lovely to relax in after an adventurous day. The larger geothermal pool was also a treat but not easy to get in or out for those who have low mobility. The owner was very approachable and helpful. Plenty of car parks but a little tricky backing out of some spaces. Enjoyed our stay.”

“I really enjoyed our stay here- it’s an older place which makes it have character. You couldn’t ask for friendlier staff - the location with the hot springs just a small walk away through the bush was stunning. The beautiful scenery just really took my breath away.
