Sorry, not suitable for guests with mobility issues . Access is via two sets of stairs, one without a handrail.

Self contained 1 bedroom, 1 sitting room with basic kitchen (fridge, microwave, hotplate, washing machine). Opens up onto shared garden.
Off road parking, available - down a shared driveway,
The unit is on the ground floor, owners live in top story.

Located 2 minute walk from Omanu beach (lifeguard patrolled in summer)
Cafe and convenience store across the road. 5kms to the foot of the Mount and Bayfair shopping centre. 6kms to Baypark Arena

There was a gross odor (of rotting wood/drywall/sewer/mold/BBQ grease) that hit me every time I entered the bedroom. I could not place exactly what it was and it did not ease during my whole stay. Air freshener spray or keeping the windows open did not alleviate it. I believe there must be a sewer drain pipe vent within the wall or something. I was wary of sleeping in there. Margaret said she had recently washed all the bedroom walls down and resealed the floors so I think she was aware of it. She let me smell the compound she sealed the floor with and it wasn't that. It was very odd. Otherwise I loved the place the location, quietness, cleanliness, view out the back, and general set-up. The furniture (except the bed) was a little tired though.

Margaret was very accommodating to allow us to check in early due to rainy weather. Pretty views out back especially at sunset. Great to have a washing machine and kitchen had everything we needed including a variety of pots and pans.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great lcoation, close to the beach where we had a ball bodyboarding in the waves. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and Margaret was a lovely host.

Me and my friend had a Mums weekend away Where we stayed was very clean & cute☺️ The shower pressure was 👌Kitchen has everything you need even a washer and dryer. Literally 5mins walking distance to the beach to catch that sunrise 🌅 or swim and only 10min drive away from the Mount Maunganui strip. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family 🙂

This place was clean and comfortable and the location is perfect, just a two-minute walk from a beautiful white sand beach! Hosts were friendly and responsive. Backing our car onto the road required caution as visibility isn't great, but wasn't a real deterrent.
