Hotel economici a Te Anau

“Quirky hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Great place to stay when visiting Te Anau, Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound. Short walk to Te Anau town centre and the lake.”

“Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again”

“Well designed apartment, spotlessly clean. We were not 'lake facing' but had some nice views out of our first floor windows. 10 minute lakeside walk into town. Receptionist at check-in was quite rude.”

“The unit was adequate for a two night stay. Very convenient for early morning boat trip on Doubtful Sound. Beautiful view of lake. Road a stone’s throw in front of unit but not very busy and bedroom was at the rear. Old fashioned interior and furnishings. Plenty of hot water, clean bedding and towels. No television but good WiFi. Overall we felt pricing was a bit on the high side. Parking beside unit. ”

“Overall acceptable “motel” but probably not worth the value , it’s close to the lake but certainly not to the front. The “front” of the rooms offer fantastic views and sounds from a trafficking road instead. Rooms are pretty old fashioned and the bed was garnished with a brownie fake ( and dusty) fur. Welcoming was excellent though but certainly not sufficient to compensate.”

“This was the right kind of place for us. It's not a 5 star experience, but the place has everything we needed, and the location was excellent for walking to town. While the outside looks a little dated, everything inside was clean and in good shape. We especially liked the tub (indoor jacuzzi tub) and the mini kitchen which allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunch for a day out exploring in Milford Sounds. The bed was also comfortable with nice linens/towels, etc.”
