“We absolutely loved Zelda Dearest. This place has quickly become our go-to when we’re in Asheville — the 1920s vibe, the atmosphere, the staff — all of it just works. Breakfast was fantastic and the perfect way to start the morning before heading out to explore downtown. The location is great too, easy walking distance to everything. If you haven’t stayed here yet, you’re missing out. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Spacious room, clean, and quiet. Great breakfast options and friendly staff. Able to check in a few hours early and provided with free drink coupons at the hotel bar. Velvet staff were excellent, helpful, and courteous. . ”

“Brit was amazing when welcoming us to the Oakland Cottage. Everything was perfect in terms of cleanliness. The cottage as well as the room was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious as well as the cookies we received upon arrival. I definitely would stay here again. ”

“The room was set up well for handicap accessible bathrooms but the door to the room was hard to open. The backcheck adjustment on the closer needs to be turned down a lot. The food we ordered on site was good but they were out of French fries. With a small amount of options, this shouldn't happen. ”

“This Hotel was Great! Clean rooms, they were a little small, but thats ok for those who wont be in them much. Very friendly staff. The rooftop bar was perfect for a late night drink. It is in walking distance to many great shops, breweries, bars and amazing restaurants. I would highly recommend and would stay here again! ”

“The pillows were not comfortable and it would be nice to have a small couch to get comfortable on. Well appointed room otherwise but regular coffee would be appropriate vs espresso ”

“A beautiful house over 100 years old and perfectly restored. It was a joy to spend time there. The woman who manages it was just delightful! We can't wait to go back and experience another of the rooms.”

“Room spotless. Snacks and drinks water free. Staff very helpful. 1 bed suite you could close off from den and kitchen. ”

“Make sure you understand they will charge u $15 per day to park in their lot. Not a parking garage not high volume just an extra charge that i was not told about at check in. They took $50 incidental charge then took $15 out of that. Not sure if the forgot or it wa son the sly but please add $15 to each day you stay here. ”
