“The room itself was clean and tidy Staff were very friendly Breakfast needs looking at running out of eggs sausages with a full hotel is not good enough. Took ages to be served waiting in a queue. Saturday evening lift broke still broken Sunday morning lots of older people struggling to get upstairs not nice to see .Apart from this we had a nice weekend .”

Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .”

“Made mistake of not reading reviews before booking and was shicked on entering the room. The carpet was in bad state and filthy and bad smoking smell in the room with cigarette stub lying in the corner. Tea stains on the wall where kettle is. Very old and poorly maintained hotel. Now will always read reviews before booking ”
