Cave House El Pedregal (Tejeda)

The Pedregal is a lovely cave house located in the Gran Canaria mountains, in the heart of the island. A few kilometers from Roque Nublo, Pico de las Nieves and Tejeda, included in the official list of the most beautiful villages in Spain. The spectacular set of the property provides you a very close contact with nature in an amazing enviroment especially recommend for countryside lovers.

The property includes three zones. The kitchen and the dining room are inside a really nice cave provided with a chimney. In this room you will find a table for meals, a sofa and a totally renovated and well equipped kitchen (fridge, microwaves, oven, etc). The second part is a little cave with a good equipped bathroom totally new. And the third area is an independent house with a big double bed, a sofa, and a litera at the top for six people. There is a terrace with superb views and a old olive tree in the middle.

The house is equipped with WIFI, smart tv, a big telescope, books related with trekking and rural routes through the mountains. There are also table games, DVDs and books . There is a safe to store your valuable things during your stay

To combat the cold we have heating, 3 heaters and a fireplace (ask for firewood availability), also in the house you can find all the bedding so that your nights are warm. Also has air conditioning for hot days.

If you are traveling as a family, we also have a crib with mattress and bedding, a portable high chair and a bathtub. You also have a backpack chair for hiking around the island.

There is a parking in the road. The distance between the parking lot and the house is approximately 50 meters along a path with handrails and stairs.

It´s not allowed to make a fire, but you have an iron, paella pan, gas barbacue, fireplace and the ceramic hob to make your meals.
The gas barbecue and the gas paella pan must be used outside (if traces of smoke are located anywhere else or inside walls, we will notify Airbnb)
