BEST OF ELKSTONE! Great rates for summer festival fun

Located on the ground floor with access through street level front door or the private entrance through the secure garage this unit has it all !

As you walk through the front door sweeping views of the San Sophia Ridge welcome you home. The main level includes a gourmet kitchen fully stocked with everything a chef could need to create memorable in home meals. A dining area with views on 3 sides has seating for 8 plus 4 stools at the kitchen bar. The open floor plan is completed by a comfortable living area with fireplace and large TV.

The primary suite with king bed and "ballroom" bath is also o the main floor.

Down the stairs is a comfortable family room with large TV and fireplace and 2 on-suite bedrooms....one king with steam shower and one queen with large walk in shower.

Each level also has a powder room.

The designer furnishings were designed by a local interior specialist and have the perfect mix of mountain and modern.

The Mountain Village Market is conveniently located across the boulevard.
This is also where you catch the gondola to the core then up an over to the Town of Telluride.

The Elkstone complex has a fantastic common area where guests can enjoy large hot tub, BBQ grill, fire pit, and fitness facility.
Social spaces include a game room and outdoor couches.

Winter ski access is incredibly easy. A short walk through the complex ( 135 steps) and all can start the day on Double Cabins green run together.

A free Dial - A - Ride service is provided by the Town of Mountain Village to owner and guests. It's like having your own driver for pick up and drop off anywhere in the Village. Information and codes will be provided prior to check in.

This house was nice enough. The primary frustration with the physical space was an ongoing lock issue that meant we were unable to get inside the house for around half an hour. We were stuck outside in wet bathing suits after a hot tub soak. But the real disappoint went beyond the physical space to the management company. My husband and I were supposed to stay with my daughter, son-in-law and his parents. But our daughter had a medical emergency and wasn’t able to travel. To our surprise, the management company was unwavering in the stance that cancellations aren’t permitted. I’ll admit we knew the policy said we shouldn’t expect flexibility. And we didn’t have insurance for the trip. But I believe exceptions can be made because of medical emergencies. My daughter booked a rental car and they made an exception to their policy of no refunds. As did two airlines. The house was the only aspect of the trip that was unchangeable despite the fact that our daughter couldn’t get on an airplane.We tried to work with management to see if others might book the home, and even changed our travel dates in an effort to increase the chances, but they either wouldn’t or couldn’t figure out how to help. I get this is a business. I also know that three different companies made exceptions because of the circumstances and I believe that should have been the case with this house. We love Telluride and will be back, but we will not stay with this management company.

Beautiful property in an ideal location. Proximity to gondola (5 min walk) made access to Mountain Village and Telluride very easy.Host was available and attentive. There was a winter storm on the day of our departure and we were worried about winter driving conditions. She helped talk us through the situation and made sure we felt safe.Hope to be back soon.

Fantastic ski trip for our son's 18th birthday! The host was very responsive and all the details were provided well ahead of time and in clear to understand directions. She could not have been easier to work with or more helpful.The property was perfect for our family of 4 - very clean, well equipped, spacious, and comfortable. The views are spectacular from the dining area and the master bedroom. The double cabin (green) run is within 100 yards of the front door making it easy for everyone to come and go on their own ski schedule. Another nice feature is the free gondola and the food market is a short 5 minute walk - really no need for a car. You can't beat the location.We have stayed in several different places within Mountain Village and this one may have just become our new favorite.

Beautiful condo and convenient location to the gondola. We had a rental car, but didn’t use it at all, we just rode the gondola to town. Very short walk to the grocery store. The condo is as advertised and we would definitely rent it again. The skiing was limited due to the ski patrol strike, but we still had a great time in Telluride.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The listing is gorgeous and we all agreed - it's even better in person. All the rooms and bathrooms are perfect, we were all so spoiled our entire stay. Everything we needed was there and high quality. The products in the bathrooms were also so nice! Elisa was incredibly kind and communicative, and even checked in after our first night to ensure all was well. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Hone

Overall, we loved this house! Everything is well stocked, including in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is super spacious and very comfortably fit our family of 6. The house is in a great location. Close to the main part of mountain village, the gondola, and grocery store, which was all very convenient! While all of that was amazing, a few things to call out. This is not a ski in ski out house. That being said, the listing did not call it a ski in/ski out unit on the listing itself, it just says ski access. However, we used a ski in/ski out filter and this was listed as one. Just want to make sure other guests are aware of this because we were not aware. This house is at the bottom of a bit of a hill, so in order to get to the slopes, you must walk about 5 minutes up hill with all of your ski gear. We have stayed at true ski in/ski out houses before and can confirm this is not one. It is close to the slopes though, but definitely a pain carrying your ski gear uphill. For this reason alone, we wouldn’t stay here again for skiing especially given the price. It would also be nice for the host to leave notes on the house somewhere like how to control the thermostats, how to access the ski slopes, etc. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to see! The host was very responsive and helpful to answer our questions though and the house itself was awesome!

Great condo!

We loved this condo! Lisa was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions I had. The condo is even nicer in person and in the best location. The grocery store, gondola, and ski runs are all walkable.

Birthday week in Telluride

What a wonderful way to celebrate! We had a lovely stay. The property was exceptional. Spacious and meticulously maintained. Lisa was a delight! She made communicating easy and stress free. Check in and check out were simple and carefree. A very quick walk to the ski run, the market and the gondola station. Location is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay

This was an excellent condo. Well kept. Incredibly comfortable and convenient location. Beyond that, Lisa went above and beyond I. Making sure we had everything we needed when we arrived on Christmas Day, including shopping for our groceries one day ahead(Christmas Eve) since the stores would be closed in the day we arrived. The proximity to the grocery store and gondola were amazing.

This was perhaps the best place we have stayed in! Absolutely gorgeous, comfortable home that was right across the street from the gondola! Lisa was so easy to work with and very responsive. Everything was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again!

Gorgeous place, lives well!

The place is beautiful and is very well equipped in all of the spaces - very well stocked kitchen, and the bath products are awesome. We did have a few challenges with the stove not pushing enough propane, so the igniter went off constantly as you cooked, and other burners wouldn't light if one was already lit. The downstairs shower was also broken, likely by the guests before us, but it coudln't be fixed in time, so we only had 2 showers for 3 couples - not ideal, and kind of a bummer considering what we paid. The host, Lisa, is super responsive, and unlocks the unit right before arrival, so you simply have to pull into the garage, and unload. The parking spot is right at the door to the unit, so unloading is a breeze. We were in town for Telluride Blugrass, and it is a bit of a hike to Mountain Village to town, via the gondolas, but the place is perfect if you're skiing or doing activities on the mountain.

Perfect ski week in Telly

The property exceeded its description. Fit 3 couples for a week. The pictures are accurate. You go through the garage, walk to the end of the neighborhood and you are skiing. Well appointed condo. Great place to relax with friends or family after a day skiing. Lisa does a great job hosting you.

Mountain perfection!

This property exceeded all of our expectations! The ease of arrival, cleanliness, decor, and communication were all wonderful and made for the best vacation. The market was across the street and a quick gondola took you into mountain village which made ski school drop off a breeze. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Couples Trip Rental

Best of Elkstone was absolutely perfect for our group of 3 couples. Plenty of space, very nice furnishings, comfy bedding, etc., stocked well with toiletries and paper products. Kitchen was also well stocked with anything you’d need to cook. The location was perfect with easy walking distance to the grocery/liquor store. Easy ski in/ski out and quick access to the gondola that takes you right into Telluride or Mountain Village Center. Lisa was very easy to reach and checked in on us during our stay. She was even so kind to accommodate an early check in and late check out as flight times out of Telluride are not frequent. We would absolutely return again!

Great Location and Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay at Elkstone. We initially didn't get check in information so we had to reach out for that. Once we initiated communication it was easy to reach the property manager. There was some minor issues: Dishwasher was coming loose, hot water in shower needed to be fixed, keys to doors were difficult to use but the property manager quickly resolved the issues. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Mountain Village ski

Perfect location to ride Gondola to ski/shop/Telluride. Did not need a car. We used Chad from Black Bear Transportation to and from airport. Highly recommend him and this property. Will be back again!
