“The location is great and the staff are outstanding. We were met upon arrival by a complimentary pickup from the airport ( or train station) and greeted at the door by Peter the friendly hotel dog. John is the English speaking staff who can help non Chinese speakers and he was beyond wonderful. Thank you so so much for all your help. “The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide selection of both American and Chinese dishes. The location is fantastic—directly across the street from Tianmen Mountain, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides a complimentary 24-hour self-service laundry, which was a great bonus. Overall, it was a five-star stay, and I would highly recommend it.”

“omfortable, clean, and location is ok free airport and train station pick up if ask early and staff is very kind and helpful and gave advices on my Tianmen forest park. they also offer private taxi ride with a very good deals if asked ( Guilin to & from Yangsou ) Stayed there for 2 nights in April 2026 - Zhangjiajie”

“I loved my short stay here, especially how clean my room was. Was nice to have the fancy heated toilet haha for a change, the automated curtains and light control panel was a good touch. Was nice to get complimentary breakfast. We only speak English so using our phone was not difficult. Great location too!”

“Home Away from Home truly was a great experience. The grounds are gorgeous and such a beautiful place to visit and experience. The staff, Elvis, Grace, and especially Felix were tremendously helpful and friendly. They took care of absolutely everything and truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. “L’hotel è certamente un po’ rustico e le stanze sono abbastanza piccole, ma comunque molto caratteristico. La cosa che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stata la gentilezza dello staff. Le due persone alla reception sono meravigliose, sorridenti e super disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e a casa. Abbiamo solo fatto un po’ fatica a trovare l’hotel, poiché la posizione nelle mappe del sito Expedia è sbagliata, quindi attenzione! ”

“Llegamos a las 9 de la noche y nos recibieron muy bien, súper rápido el check in, usó su traductor para entendernos mejor, nos dio una explicación muy explícita para el parque que visitaríamos, nos regaló un mapa, el cuarto muy limpio solo que olía mucho a cigarro pero pues eso es en todos lados. Volveremos en unos meses. ”
