“The room was huge, brand new and beautiful with incredible amenities, but the service sets apart the Kamo from other hotels. The staff repeatedly went beyond expectations.”

“Staying at Kamo Residences was an absolute pleasure. Check-in was quick, and the place itself is pure luxury—beautiful interiors, a fantastic layout, designer furniture (high-end, solid and comfy). The full kitchen, washer-dryer, and microwave made everything super convenient. Room cleaning 3 times per day, plus bed turnover while we were out for dinner. Beds are high, thick and comfortable, nice support. We asked for harder pillows, no problem. Sheets and bedding silky. Cleanest hotel I have...

“We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. ”

“The hotel host Thomas is very hospitable. He was gracious in adding my daughter to the stay last min without any additional cost. He also helped me to arrange for a taxi. Overall, it is just a wonderful experience staying at this quiet neighborhood. ”

“After Tokyo, we basked in the generously sized rooms here. It’s worth it to pay a bit extra for the premium rooms. The extra space is amazing. The location was very convenient for us. You can walk to the Gion district, shopping, the river, bars and restaurants. ”

Castello e giardini a 5 minuti a piedi . ”

“I had a lovely stay in one of the double rooms which is very spacious for Japanese hotels. I loved the the design of the room as well as its amenities - especially the en-suite bathroom! It’s located in a quite side street and the downstairs gyoza restaurant was outstanding! Would highly recommend staying at hotel inc when in Tokyo! ”

“We passed one day in the annex: a separate building with all the comforts one can expect by a high grade hotel, and all the peculiarity of a traditional Japanese house. It is expensive, but if you want to make a time travel in the ancient Kyoto surrounded by a Japanese garden contiguous to a Shinto Shrine, this is the place to go.
The toilet is provided with an excellent washlet, the bathroom has a wooden tub with very hot water, for a strong relaxing experience.

“Ishiahara is now my new favorite place in the world. The Ryokan at first seems humble, but the design, layout, and hospitality of it made me feel as if I was staying at the most luxurious hotel in the world. I look forward to staying here again!”

“The rooms were magnificent. Along with that the staff here was an absolute delight. Welcoming us when we returned and seeing us out the door just as if we were their children leaving for the day. A wonderful Japanese experience. 10 minute walk to tram station and multiple bus stops that will get you anywhere. 6 minute walk to a shopping street littered with people shops, and food alike. ”

“Beautiful hotel at a great price. The rooms are large with tatami floors and futon bedding. Lots of space for luggage and bathrooms are very nice. The public onset is the highlight of this hotel - the hotel was not busy during my stay and we got to enjoy empty onsen in the early morning and late night. Hotel staff is cooperative and answer any questions, they even printed out gion matsuri map for us as we were confused about the route of the procession. Overall I would rate this hotel 5/5 for a...

“Lovely quiet hotel. Very polite and welcoming staff. We were fortunate to avoid (arriving on a Saturday and leaving Monday) the apparent excavations going on to the west and north side of the hotel of some recently discovered artifacts. Wonderful complimentary cocktail and appetizers in the evening. Laundry floor. Smallish but clean quiet rooms and hallways at night and in the mornings. Would stay again. ”

"Very spacious for Japanese standards. It offers everything one needs. Nice pijamas and toiletries. It also has laundry facilities. If you want to rent bikes make sure you reserve them before"
