We had this trip planned for months, however due to heartbreaking family news before arrival we had to arrive a bit earlier.When we were able to go to the Haggard we were welcomed by a roaring log fire, it immediately made us feel warm and welcome.The property is spacious with plenty of room, it was perfect for all that we needed.Toby, the host, welcomed us the following day and was available if we needed.We loved the location, the space and the tranquility.Thank you Toby for helping to ease our pain.

Very dark in one bathroom cups and glasses could be cleaner and normally a welcome pack of tea coffee and milk in the fridge the fan in the bathroom was filthy

It’s a handy base for exploration of the local beaches at Tenby, Freshwater East, Skrinkle Haven and Wiseman’s Bridge. There are two beaches within walking distance of the cottage. The property has a pleasant garden but is not entirely secure for dogs as there’s a shared drive with the neighbouring cottage. This resulted in the gate sometimes being left open. The cottage is generally well-equipped but a hair dryer would have been a useful addition. Overall, the cottage was tidy but it could benefit from a bit of TLC. We did enjoy our stay.

Geniale Auszeit

Ein schöner Rückzugsort, ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet, mit allem, was man so braucht. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln geht so, ist mit dem Auto sicherlich entspannter. Die schönen Strände, Restaurant und Shops sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Danke für die tolle Zeit, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Easter weekend

We are a family of four: 2 adults and 2 teens.The Haggard was absolutely perfect for us. The weather wasn’t overly kind during our stay but we arrived to a lit fire (and agreed a slightly early check-in time) and a wonderfully cosy feeling!The kitchen was well equipped and all of the essentials were throughout the cottage.It was a very quiet spot, perhaps slightly too quiet for us (we’d have liked a pub close by!) but very good location for visiting all our favourite spots in Pembrokeshire.

Well appointed pretty cottage

Beautiful location, good facilities. Walking distance to the beach. Fully enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Ample parking.
