I don't know what the puma population is, but I was fortunate enough to see one about 40 miles south of the ranch. The ranch is a good location if you want to visit Marfa, Alpine...

“Was in the area for extended weekend and stayed at XB. Place is in perfect place to enjoy desert and has beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed our time on the porch. Town with restaurants and stores is near about 20 min away. Phones (Verizon) worked well at property. Room and bath were clean and everything worked as should. Thank you for memorable stay wife and kids are already planning next vacation there.”

“It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. ”
