The breakfast buffet was. amazing we had dinner there one evening and I could not compliment the chef enough.”

“The room is nice. Service are great as well as the breakfast. The view is also beautiful on the river side and from the swimming pool, it‘s really relaxing. Stay here for the second time, still love it. Only thing that should be improve is the air-con. Seemed like all the room we‘re staying this time including our friends‘ rooms, the air-con wasn‘t quite cool enough even though we‘re turning to only 18c with highest fan speed already. ”

“We stayed for four nights and were upgraded to a Deluxe room which is 32m2 (same size as classic) on the ground level with pool view and outside seating area. Very comfortable king bed, small sitting area and a large bathroom. Shower is in bath, so may not suit everyone. Pool is very refreshing. There are about 22 sun lounges and we never had a shortage during our 4 nights stay. Very serene views of the river and limestone mountains in the background make it a very relaxing place to cool off...

“We were first greeted by Air who welcomed us warmly and helped us with many practical things throughout our stay. The restaurant was amazing, we never ate anywhere else and we’re looking forward to each meal. Never ate the same thing twice. Pool was excellent and massages too. Beautiful garden and fantastic views. Recommend this place whole heartedly.”

“We loved staying here so much that we extended our stay for a few extra nights. As budget backpackers, this was perfect. It is very central but not loud at night. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. Rooms are basic but quite spacious. Breakfast is handy- eggs and bread. ”

“Loved the pool on the 2nd floor lots of great sun exposure but they need lounge chairs to relax on while sunbathing or just relaxing. Only have tables with full bench seats, bo place to lay down. Also provide some umbrellas for those who want to sit outside under some shade. This is a really new hotel and I believe they will provide in the near future, a work in progress as a matter of fact they haven't finished installing the lights on the wall next to your bed. “The Central Hotel is located on the Main Street of Vang Vieng but there’s no noise heard in the rooms. The rooms are very spacious (I had room 302) and the bed is comfortable. The only draw backs were the AC wasn’t great and there doesn’t seem to be a daily (or weekly) room clean. Besides this it was a comfortable enough stay and the staff were very helpful. There is lots of activities and plenty of restaurants on the street and Gary’s Irish Bar is 100m away ! There is a nice breakfast selection...
