La cabina di Lowell!

La cabina di Lowell è il luogo perfetto per staccare la spina e distendersi. Questa capanna / casa recentemente ristrutturata (nel 2019) si trova in una fattoria di hobby di 30 acri che offre una vista su uno stagno di 4 acri, bestiame e polli al pascolo, una fattoria di alberi di Natale, campi di fieno, frutteto e molta fauna selvatica. 12 miglia facili per Mankato, 6 miglia per Lake Crystal e 15 per Madelia MN, sono facilmente accessibili al largo di HWY 169. La cabina è fantastica per una vacanza in famiglia, weekend di ragazze / ragazzi. Questa è una posizione molto privata vicino a laghi, piste ciclabili, fiumi, Minneopa State Park, negozi, ristoranti, birrerie locali e cantine. Pozzo del fuoco esterno (legna fornita), griglia a carbone (carbone non fornito).
La cabina ha 3 camere da letto e un soppalco. 1 letto matrimoniale nella camera da letto al piano principale con TV, camere da letto al piano superiore hanno una camera con 1 letto matrimoniale, seconda camera con 2 letti full size. Loft ha 2 letti singoli e 1 letto matrimoniale. Aria condizionata centralizzata, forno ad aria forzata.
Il piano principale è accessibile ai disabili. Il bagno al piano principale ha una cabina doccia, il bagno al piano superiore ha una doccia a 4 piedi. La cucina ha tutti i piatti, pentole, padelle e utensili di cui avrete bisogno, un frigorifero full size, lavastoviglie, piano cottura a gas, macchina per il caffè / filtri. This was our second stay with one year. Absolutely a wonderful facility inside and out for our family vacation. We love the open kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of counter space that made cooking family breakfasts and spaghetti with meatballs dinner enjoyable. And even though the 4th of July was hot and humid, we had a small fire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for smores. Our 12 year old grandson loved the chickens and horses and the onsite playground. Lake Crystal is close by and we were happy to find Kevin's Market open late on the holiday. Mankato was also close enough for a trip to the Cinemark River Hills Mall movie theater on such a hot day. We will definitely return to the Cabin in Lowell. One of our favorite rentals in Minnesota.
A fire to roast marshmallows for smores is a must!

We enjoyed our stay, we spent a few weeks. The property was everything we needed. We enjoyed the wildlife, rabbits, deer, lots of birds, frogs chirping at night, lightning bugs. A few flys, mosquitos were not bad, the frogs must eat well! Carl and Ann were great hosts, available but not intrusive. Highly recommended!

Wonderful property. Quiet, many activities available and so much to see. If you are looking to accommodate several friends or family members near the Mankato area, this is it! Owners very friendly and respectful of your privacy during the stay.

We stayed a weekend in May and had a wonderful time! The cabin was well stocked and clean. The layout of bedrooms and sleeping space was perfect. The decor is interesting (even an “eye spy” game to find unique pieces of artifacts throughout the cabin, leading to fun conversation starters). We enjoyed walking and hiking the grounds, the owners, Ann and Karl, were so welcoming and responsive. We hope to be back again!

Just a beautiful property. They've thought of everything. The hosts were terrific, and our family had an amazing time. Not sure how they managed to control the weather, but the trip couldn't have been more perfect. 5 stars and I strongly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a nice family getaway.

My husband and I stayed with another couple and had a great time. Plenty of space for multiple couples, comfy beds, everything you need to cook there. It was a great spot for a weekend away to relax and unwind. Beautiful property that we enjoyed walking around and exploring. Very peaceful and relaxing! The owners stopped by and checked in with us and were incredibly kind and accommodating.

This is the absolute perfect place to relax as a group. We came for a pool tournament and its nice to get away from the busy town and relax in this peaceful environment. Hosts are wonderful and easy to get ahold of if anything is needed.

This was the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We came with the intentions to ski at Mt. Kato but due to unseasonably warm temps that didn’t happen. But this is a perfect place to stay if looking to do so, close and spacious. The property is large and we were encouraged to explore it, this was a highlight for sure! There is also a playground for the kids and chickens. Inside there was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out and a variety of sleeping options. There were games and books but our favorite was the Cabin at Lowell seek and find book, very fun and unique. Carl and Ann were great hosts, easy to contact and gave good tips for the area. We enjoyed Minneopea State Park, Mom & Pop’s ice cream in Mankato and a beer at Lost Sanity brewery. We hope to make it back for some actual skiing this winter!

Nice quiet place. Owners are kind. The place was very unique and comfortable. Cooking with a gas oven was a forst for me, but got the hang of it. Really liked how remote it is. Short drive to Mt. Kato and Mankato.

The Cabin at Lowell was the perfect setting for our 4 generation Thanksgiving get together. The generous sized bedrooms and loft area were exactly as pictured and gave each family there own space. The two bathrooms were well stocked with wonderfully fluffy bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. The handicap accessible 1st floor bathroom was especially appreciated by my elderly parents. The kitchen is completely stocked with all of the amenities you'd find in your own home plus more! It was a delight to play familiar board and card games which provided. Nestled just south of Mankato the Cabin at Lowell was very convenient. Even though it was cold outside, that did not deter my 4 year old great nephew from finding joy using the swingset, merry-go-round and visiting the chicken coop and waving at the resident horses! Carl and Ann were very gracious and attentive hosts. We hope to gather as an extended family again at the Cabin at Lowell.

We had everything we needed and more: fans, binoculars, extra blankets, fire pit, and so much more! Everything was very clean and organized. The land around the cabin was so spacious and beautiful to walk around. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing area, and Carl and Ann were so kind. I plan to keep it in mind for future friends and/or family getaways.

WOW! By far one of the best properties and homes we have visited in the past 10 years. Secluded property, wildlife, scenery and location met all our expectations. And the chickens are so very fun! The cabin is spacious and comfortable. One of the best stocked kitchens of many rentals, which is very appreciated since we like to eat in for breakfasts and dinners. Ann and Carl are very gracious and friendly while respecting our privacy. We took advantage of suggested local businesses including the Lakes Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Crystal and Lost Sanity Brewing in Madelia - both very good! Schell's Brewery in New Ulm is not far and Younger Brothers capture site in Madelia was an interesting historic site. We will definitely return to the Cabin in Lowell.

We had the most amazing time staying at The Cabin at Lowell! Carl and Ann (and their daughter!) are the most personable and courteous hosts we have encountered in all of our travels. The cabin was immaculately clean and generously stocked with towels (so plush!), bedding, dinnerware, and cookware. The screened in porch was our favorite place to be as we could watch and listen to the birds (chickens included) and enjoy the outside air and views. The property is SO interesting! There are a variety of animals to view and plenty of mowed paths to explore. While the owners tend to the animals during the day, they leave you do to your own thing. Or, if you prefer, they are happy to tell you stories of the cabin, the land, and the animals. This place offers an enjoyable escape. We have never stayed more than once at any vacation rental as we prefer to experience different places. However, we are already planning another stay. Thank you Carl and Ann for your hospitality and for making our visit to The Cabin at Lowell so enjoyable and relaxing! We look forward to seeing you again!

We had a great trip to Mankato. The house was beautiful and clean, with so many fun details. The property itself was wonderful. The kids loved the playground equipment and being able to watch the chickens. The location was ideal for visiting Mankato and Minneopa state park. The hosts were friendly and made checking in and out a breeze. Thanks for sharing such a unique property and we hope to return again.

The cabin was wonderful, it had everything you would ever need. Not sure what I can say, we loved having coffee on the screened in porch, the chickens were fun to watch. The walking paths were great to just get outside and enjoy nature. It was clean, easy to find. The hosts were great.
