“Love everything about the Yancey!! Especially the gazebo like hut at the top of the dunes! Great friendly staff especially Danny who was so welcoming to visitors!! Fun breakfast set up..Clean rooms! Great spot!!”

“The property was nice and clean as were the rooms. The only thing that was not great was the parking was quite a hike to the lobby. They do have valet but I do not want to go through that every time I want my vehicle”

“This is a great hotel. Anniversary stay. Very modern, upscale rooms. Rooms came with many extras such as snacks, beach towels and chairs, access to free-use bicycles. Within walking distance of the village, lighthouse, restaurants, ice cream places, and coffee shops. Ferry slip is also close by. Hanna, General Manager, was a highly welcoming host and gave us pointers about the island. Best customer service. We will most definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are on the OBX.”

“I was surprised to see no real updates in the rooms since our last stay in 2015. Only one way to charge a phone, a clock on one side of the bed. The iron was leaked, just a lot of updates needed.”
