“The room was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised with a view of the ocean. My biggest complaint is that there was nothing on the walls and I felt like I was in a jail cell. It was really weird....I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have something on the wall. Also no recycling bins/info.”

“The staff were friendly and very helpful. The view from our room was amazing! Easy to walk to good restaurants. My husband and me came to simply relax and enjoy the beach. It was nice to not have to drive around to have great food next door or in the hotel restaurant. Do wish that after several visits to this facility it’s starting to be run down around the pool and hot tub was in need of some real attention. Even so, we will return because everything else has been great. ”

“I really enjoyed staying at The DoubleTree! The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was there was some spots in the bathroom that were experiencing some wear and tear. Overall, everything was clean, and we were very pleased with our stay. Our favorite was how kind and helpful all of the staff were. We’ll definitely stay at the DoubleTree when we come back to Greenville. ”

“Right on the beach! The lady at the front desk was so welcoming. The location at Surfside was relaxing and beautiful. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a great ice cream store on the pier right next to the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay.”

“Overall, our stay was excellent. There were two minor problems; one elevator was out of operation and the bathroom vent fan in our room, made a rumbling noise. The room was clean, the staff professsional and friendly, the breakfast menu was varied and delicious. The atmosphere was family and business friendly. ”
