“Well located (15 minute walk to the baths, and on several bus lines). Nice property, excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that our room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling that you have to be careful of to avoid bumping your head and which effectively reduces the useful space in the room.”

“A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

“The day we arrived we were treated to a wine and cheese reception which was very nice. There was both a hot and cold breakfast which was very nicely presented and delicious. Coffee was made to order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were small but we made do. The friendly atmosphere and the great location made up for it.”
