“Beautiful location and a really quaint and quirky hotel built in the 16th century. A number of boutique shops locally and plenty options for eating and drinking. Really friendly staff happy to help. Private car park with plenty of spaces.”

“Loads of charm and nostalgia. Decent food. Some staff are friendly, some just do their job. This is a very old building with few upgrades. Our room was a bit musty, washroom was dingy and there are no fridges or AC is any of the rooms.”

The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. “The accomodation was clean and tidy with basics of tea/coffee/television and basic toiletries in the bathroom. Food was available within the main building and was "usual" pub fare, generous portions and for the area was reasonably priced. Would I stay there again?, if in the area and needed accom.. then YES I would book again.”
