“We’ve been staying at Grant Hills for years. The rooms aren’t fancy, though are very clean and comfortable. We like the option to bring our pups with if we choose. The cost of a two night stay is many times less than one night in other Galena hotels. It’s always very quiet and there is a walking path not far away. ”

“Ask for a room toward the back of the property if you want to avoid road noise. Breakfast bar is available until 10 AM. Property has a good number of trees, a small pond, & areas to sit around the pond. Overall a nice property with professional staff.”

Construction across the street woke us around 7 am, making the 8 am do-or-die breakfast schedule understandable. The building is a living and breathing treasure.
