“It was a great stay right from the start! It was right by the ferry and the service was impeccable the second we walked off the ferry! It was located right in the downtown area, so everything was right there and we could easily stop in anytime we needed! We had a waterfront room…really enjoyed the trip! Definitely recommend!!!”

“This was a delightful inn with a great porch for morning coffee and afternoon wine. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Mackinac. It was away from the crowds but still just a short walk from everything. ”

“Elegant old hotel, beautifully appointed with professional and knowledgeable staff. We sat on the porch watching the boats come in from the Mackinaw race. Highly recommend”

“Wonderful resort after spending the day on Mackinac Island. The free breakfast buffet was typical food. Room had an amazing beach view allowing one to sit on the balcony and enjoy beach view and ambiance without getting sandy. The hot tub was enjoyable, crowded at times. Water was hot and jets were intense. The free shuttle to Sheplers ferry was efficient and prompt. We ate dinner one night at Breakers and was disappointed. We had extremely long wait for mediocre food served warm but not hot. We...

“Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. For the price you cannot beat this especially compared to other surrounding options! ”

“The hotel is located at the quieter side of town. It has the amenities of the Mackinac City but without all the traffic and commercial activities there. There are many restaurants around the area, shuttle to island ferry. It's located in front of the lake with daily breakfast included. There are 2 pools, indoor and outdoor. All in all, a very nice quiet stay befitting the ambiance of Mackinac.”

“Although other reviews prior to our stay had dissatisfaction about the continental breakfast we found it very good. Provided great scrambled eggs, two styles of sausages, fresh fruits, bountiful individual packaged cereal, fruit juices, bagels, muffins, toast, coffees, teas, and hot chocolate packets. “The renovations were beautiful. One suggestion would be that you upgrade the locks on the doors to a deadbolt type. The doorknob lock left us a little concerned, also daylight could be seen coming through from around the door. Regardless, not only would we look forward to staying again, but we would also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting St Ignace.”
