“Genuinely friendly welcome and a very comfortable, clean room - all of which I needed after a long, hard day on the Pennine Way. Arrived too late to eat in the evening but breakfast was terrific. Would thoroughly recommend the Alma. ”

“When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful. The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus”

“We stayed at the white bull for 2 nights while attending a wedding locally. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We had room 6 which was large with a king size bed, very comfortable, the room was largewith a large bathroom. Complementary tea, coffee nespresso machine , hot chocolate, biscuits and still and sparkling water were available in the room. Plenty of storage drawers and wardrobe. Also 2 chairs. The windows were a little tired looking but all furnishings were obviously fairly new...

“The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal here which was excellent , menu above average pub menu. The bed was really comfortable , the bedding smelt so fresh. The shower was powerful and hot. Enjoyed an ample breakfast with menu choice for the smaller appetite. Taxi to Haworth only cost £7.00”

“Sue the owner was very very welcoming and so friendly. She couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were very modern and comfortable with a nice layout. We would highly recommend staying here. ”

“Le contact avant l'entrée des lieux n'a pas été bien clair. Toutefois, une fois sur place, le séjour s'est très bien passé, tout à fait dans mes attentes : endroit très propre, le nécessaire est dans la chambre. Lit confortable pour ma part. Le lieu reste le moins cher sur Burnley. J'y retournerais si je serais amené à le faire.”
